my opera screenshot - homeHi, I've got good news. We are launching a major My Opera upgrade in less than a month. :smile: We have been working on this for quite some time now and we are exited about it.

There's many new features and improvements in the code, but the most noticeable change is of course the design. I tried a number of different designs before I got it right. The design process even included using water colors for painting and then scanning it. :D

The first screenshot shows the My Opera home page with news, featured users and featured photos. (note: the screenshot is taken from our internal test server and is using test content, so some things such as the news headers and news images do not match)

my opera screenshot - user infoThe second screenshot is from a new section called "people". It has almost the same content as the users about page but with standard community design. The people section will make it easier for you to find and browse user profiles. We have some cool plans for this section in the future, but the first version will be quite simple.

Another big change is that the account pages has the standard community design. This means that when you edit your profile, send messages, etc you will stay in the community design.

We have also added more blog sidebar customization features. You will be able to turn on/off things and there's new features such as "latest blog comments".

There's a lot of other small changes and we'll post more about it later. :smile:

I think there are more categories that are needed in the community "gallery", more than the ones in the "customize" tab. One I am especially intersted in is a gallery for "Opera Show" templates. I have already suggested this in the forum, you can read it here:

It also includes another suggestion about blog templates.

Any chance of a new customisation section for UserJS scripts? A central repository for them would be most welcome, especially since userjs.org has been comatose for months now. This leaves a very promising feature badly neglected.

preview page is cool and hopefully more better then right now , I'll just wait for it new upgrade.

How can I blog these smiley Emotes , its annoying to me , Everything on Opera web browser is Cool just this Emotes I dont like it , can someone tell me how to block or disable ? I love Yahoo smiley emotes , not these kind.

I am very happy to use opera web broswer and its look Smart

I'm a new member and still pretty much playing around with my.opera at the mo, after accidentally locking myself out of my first page. It's a whole dead e-mail address story I wont bore ya with. Gotta say, new features are always a good thing, but will they all be available to Opera mini users? At the moment I can post any blog photo but no main (shown in sidebar) photo from Opera mini for instance. Can't take an avatar photo either... Are there any fixes for these things coming with the new update to my Opera? Also, can we expect to see more page layout options? Suppose I'll have to wait for the update to find out. When is it due?

I think it's a few new features for this site along with a more uniform feel to the pages. So it should be added here without the need to hold anyone at gunpoint LOL Hopefully soon *taps watch*

Haven't seen basic of opera but I am uising OPERA V-9.20 and I love it.

Win 95 and vista is very diffiernt view and standard as I can see but its alot cost to use vista. well window xp sp2 and opera latest version is still number one for me. ((((( SHOUT )))) hello opera you are great web browser and I don't see anymore pop-ups. I want to say - THANKS

I just love the designs, but it would be great if you could also add either support fot custom HTML or Adsense support externally.
