Yesterday, on Cross Culture Communication we discussed "Luck" by Mark Twain. At the beginning half part of my group said "The main character is stupid .... yes...... he is stupid........ yes........he is a very bad man because he is stupid........."
Why?
When the lecturer asked me, I said "To my mind, if God help somebody, stupidity or wisdom of this somebody is of no importance. Moreover the main character is stupid & he didn't understand that he make mistakes & he didn't suffer because of it... He is really lucky person & may be I even envy him..... "
After my speech our lecturer said that it maybe true that fools are more happy then intelligents and we started to discussed this story in the view of suffer from wisdom.....
