McCain speech not Googlable or downloadable afterwards like Obamas - missed opportunity
Friday, 5. September 2008, 04:50:10
Within an hour of Barak Obama's spech, hi entire speech was available on several TV and online network sites it's entirety.
What does this say?
I'm not exactly sure, I am in a position of pointing out the obvious but being somewhat perplexed. I wanted to give John McCain equal time, but it seems, unless you glued yourself to the TV and tradition network television (the McCain Generation vs. the 2008 world) < you missed it. His press network did not immediate;y perpetuate his entire message online.
As a member of the online media, I know it takes only a few minutes to take live digital or even Beta analog video and put it onto YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, etc and provide a professional DV video feed to the networks, and they have servers that can transcode the video in minutes, into official "CNN.com" video formats such as windows media, Flash , etc.
So how did we end up with a non-splash of MCain online, versus being able to see Obama's entire speech online within the same night he spoke in Denver?
I'm gOing to go out on a limb and calling this is another disconnection.
But I am just a Libertarian, not a democrat or republican. I want more.... More than the rhetoric, the entire substance and evidence of progressive thought.
