4x4, in-n-out, food, burgers
In a recent post i wrote about the
In-N-Out Animal Style burger, which is available from the
secret menu not listed in the restaurants.
Another item on the secret menu is the "X by Y" burgers, where you choose X meat patties and Y cheese slices. The maximum is 4x4, so of course i had to try it!
I have no idea what the calorie count on this is, nor do i remember how much it cost. Maybe i had a meat and cheese induced blackout, but all i remember is that it was goooood. Maybe a tiny little too much cheese, but other than that i have no complaints. I'm giving this a
Here's a cheesy picture. Can you see all the four meat patties?

in-n-out, food, burgers
The semi-famous In-N-Out burger chain has one of the simplest menus i know of, with just 3 different types of burgers. However, they also have a
secret menu not listed in the restaurants.
I've tried the "animal style" burger before; they grill the meat patties with mustard, add pickles, add grilled onions, and extra sauce in addition to the regular lettuce and tomatoes.
Today i also tried the "animal style" french fries for the first time. These are regular fries where they add two slices of cheese and stick them in the oven so the cheese melts. Then they add pickle relish and more burger sauce on top.
These burgers are probably the best combination of good burgers and low price you'll find in California. i'd recommend them to anybody

As you can see in the photo, i look pretty happy
