About me

Dj Romao is a Portuguese based dj/producer with a special feeling for House and Progressive House Music. His career started with him spinning records in the early age of 12 years old, influenced by his father ho was also a dj. After initially playing Pop Rock and some Alternative Music Dj Romao became more interested in electronic clubhouse and techno demonstrating a rare flair for working the dance floor. In 1995 he gained the residency of the House Room of Green Hill - Portugal. In his early deejay sessions he shared the stage with the names like: Adam Beyer, Jay Tidman, Jesus del Campo, Marco Carola, Oliver Ho, A. Paul, Morrice, Z Mig-L, Jiggy, among others... Gradually dj Romao become more and more into the House and Progressive House scene exploring some driving beats, hypnotic grooves and sexy melodies. His rare ability to combine a powerful groove for the body and an elevating journey for the soul continues to win the loyalty of fans session after session.
