File synchronization market opportunity for Opera

Here are some examples of the issue
In order to do something simple like synchronizing email address books the user either has to use a web-based email service all the time or get all the devices in one place at one time on a regular basis.
If a user wants to put music from their i-Pod type device on the laptop they have to plug one device into the other.
My view is that there is an opportunity for Opera to take advantage of its work with peer-to-peer technologies via BiTorrent, and with mobile, wireless devices, and marry the two together to help users synchronize data across multiple devices. Each user could set up a private peer-to-peer network among their devices so that selected file types, e.g., music, address books, calendar, etc., would automatically update each other whenever the devices are online. This means a user traveling in Oslo could update their address book in New York without having to hop a plane back to the states to get the data.
The "product" would embedded in each device via the Opera browser and the user could set up a secure peer-to-peer network among their devices using a "profile" in each device. Opera would look for the profile and link devices that give it access for each specific user. You could also have a public peer-to-peer network among your friends for sharing cell phone photos, music, etc. that would be distinct in terms of security from your private peer-to-peer network. You could blog or send email from the same user ID from any device.
I'm not going to write an extended essay on this just now, but I think I've made the idea clear enough for comments. What do you think?
