After listening politely,the boy bent down,picked up another starfish,and threw it into the surf.
then smiling at the man,he said,

1 day a man was workin along d beach wen if noticed a figure in d distanz.as he got closa he realized d figure was dat of a boy pickin sometin up n gently throwin it in2 d ocean.aproachin d boy,he asked,"wat are you doin" d youth replied, "throwin starfish in d ocean.d sun s up n d tide s goin out.if i don't throw em in,dey wil die""son" d man said,dont u realize dare ar miles n miles of beach n 100s of starfish?u cant posibly mak a diference!
