Google Sync'ing your data with ActiveSync

. . So you just found out that you can synchronize all your contacts, calendar and tasks from your outlook, mobile phone or any other Exchange ActiveSync-enabled protocol software. You get an account--active the ActiveSync for it, if applicable (in the case it is from a Google For Your Domain, Google Hosted, Google Apps or any other weird way you decide to call it)--, set the software up with the correct data following the steps in the Google Support page <http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138636> and try it: error. You try to check the error message and it will tell you: "support code 0x80004005". What?!
. . You probably were so excited with this feature that forgot to really read the support page. Instead, you just ran your eyes through the screenshots and replicated the configuration info. That's the big mistake. The page clearly states "(Tasks is not supported and will lead to an error if checked.)", but doing a google search for the error will show you that not everybody (me included!) pay attention to this kind of minor detail.
. . Good luck.
