typical behaviors and related stories

I'd like to share with you today a typical behavior of the widget -- Tawny girl. She's bouncing off the couch, I say; just like a gymnist. There's a bolt and a snort, a rush down the hall to grab her toy angel doll, and then the jump to the back of the couch (thank goodness I'm not sitting there). This is a new game she plays because I'm not sitting on the couch to throw her doll down the hall, etc. Right now, as I type, she is thumpping her tail to let us know that she is resting (like a dog rug) on the couch. She has the couch all to herself and spread out she is. I never knew she had gotten that big until I see that she actually can spread to be two cushions long; tail and all!

The other story I'd like to share is of Hearty dog. He is so clumsy still with his feet flaring him everywhere. One might say he's a gentle giant, if only they knew; how much it hurts when he steps on your bare foot. I've a brused instep that heals long enough for him to step on it again. We've got much, much more training to accomplish with this behavior. I don't think he actually realizes how strong he is -- yet, he's still not full grown at almost two (I think, he is a rescue--he found me too).

And last but never least is my faithful companion, Jean Luc Picard, my sweetheart. He reads my mind and my soul. He knows things before they happen will come true. He holds the key to my heart and we will never part. He is getting on in age and the time will come when I won't be able to feel his hugs, but we will always share our hearts and souls. Because he is very special to me and anyone he meets. That's my sweetheart.

Please add your stories and what-nots, because I'd like it alot. deborah.
