Bill Evans (1929 - 1980) - American jazz musician. One of the most important jazz pianists of 60 - 70-ies.
Despite the fact that in hierarchical tables of ranks Evans is a step below Bud Powell, his chord construction was so complicated that could be borrowed in the future only a limited number of pianists.
