keep the spirit

1 year ago today there has been the first comment to the post WELCOME TO OPERA WORLD COMMUNITY at this place ... since then 1548 comments appeared here on the WELCOME POST ... O.W.C. currently has 1679 members ... moderators are o ... open minded
p ... professional
u ... unique
s ... supportive
o.p.u.s. ... says it all !
yet it must be mentioned ... no spamers, scamers, no sharing of dodgy software ! no flaming!
! ! ! RACISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ! ! !

following the credo from above the opera world community as part of the my.opera community is as special as each and everyone involved here is special as a person ... as a friend ... but we all know that it wouldn't be like this without one man ... you can go through all the sites here and you always will meet him ... HENRY aka AOTEROAnz is the man who made all this possible and O.W.C. a special place to come and stay ... a place of peace, friendship and support ... encouraging, funny and ... ah, you know for yourself what this place on my.opera means to you ... time to say thank you, Henry .. thank you so much ... even if I've thought about having a big big big party here a firework spreading happiness and friendship all around the globe and back ... hm, sometimes it is like this ... like in our own real lives ... even if there are a lot of reasons to have a big bang! party then ... it's the more silent, calm and balanced way that suits the moment and everybody involved better ...
'though I'm not so sure about how O.W.C. will continue and what it is going on because I'm missing specially one person, and I'm proud to call him my friend! very much ... I want to say it again ... and hope there will be O.W.C. in future as well ...

And I hope that he considers me his friend also.

Hi Pam ... I really don't know, 'cause I don't know what's up with Henry lately ... I don't have any clue what's going on because I can't get any reply from him ... but if needed, of course I'll try to have an eye on this ... if I have the time ... at least I don't like the idea, that this is going down without any attempt to find out what is going on ...

Hi my friends!!!
I know I`m not one of the "Elite" of moderators and so on...
but...I`m so worry about what`s going on with Henry since,
I have sent him several PM`s and I have not received any response either and it makes me be afraid that something walks badly.
So,if someone has some news about him, please warn me!!!
And Dirk, I know that is almost nothing what I can do...
but, if you need some kind of help you can count with me at any time, whatever you want. :knight:

I know nothing more than anyone else, I guess ... if I would ... and I really wish I would know more about what's going on ... you know, I really appreciate your kind offer and I know that it comes from deep of your heart ... that's what makes it so special here ... people talking caring and sharing seriously with and about each other ... let's be a little more patient then for a while ... and then ... hm, inthe meantime I'll try to keep everyone updated even I will start my holidays next week with going to Indonesia for a bout 5 weeks, but you it's easy to stay connected no matter where you are on our small planet :up: :knight:

hi ... as far as I'm involved nothing we tried ... cards, letters to his address and to his family did work ... there hasn't been any reply at all ... I think it might be a good :idea: doing like you said Karen ... and what's left is hoping for the best ... :frown:

Yes...I'm hoping and praying that Henry is okay. I'm so, so worried about him. I miss all the private message back and forth, his ability to cheer me up with one sentence, his amazingly positive outlook on even the most negative things....I just miss my dear friend, Henry, so very much. :frown: :heart:
