Without a trace

,

Today I saw
A face I only dream of
I recognized a feeling
That I used to know
From another time and space
It thought left a long a go

I stood a while
I left my brother escape me
And spoke her name
Then as she turned to face me
For a second there was something
In her eyes as if to say:
“Nothing has ever changed”

We took us separate ways
But in our hearts we never changed
We throw it all away
Could we go back once again
I learned to carry on
I learned to face another day
without her

Without a trace
so close we nearly touched
I almost took her hand in mine
Time can fall away
But nothing can change the man inside
Or bring us back
The love once we denied

We had it all
She was the one to save me
I didn’t know that she would always change me so
That I think of her and see her every place
I’d ever go

A candle burnt
But in the world of darkness
I separate my love before and after her
Now I see that nothing ever really changed
But it’s too late

Off He Goes

Pearl Jam - 06 - Off He Goes - No Code.MP3

Know a man, his face seems pulled and tense
Like hes riding on a motorbike in the strongest winds
So I approach with tact, suggest that he should relax
But hes always moving much too fast
Said hell see me on the flipside
On this trip hes taken for a ride
Hes been taking too much on ...
There he goes with his perfectly unkept clothes
There he goes...

Hes yet to come back, but I see his picture
Doesnt look the same up on the rack
We go way back

I wonder about his insides
Its like his thoughts are too big for his size
Hes been taken, where, I dont know?
Off he goes with his perfectly unkept clothes
And there he goes...

And now I rub my eyes, for he has returned!
Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned
For he still smiles, and hes still strong
Nothings changed, but the surrounding bullshit
That has grown

And now hes home, and were laughing like we always did
My same old, same old friend
Until a quarter-to-ten

I saw the strain creep in
He seemed distracted and I know just what is gonna happen next
Before his first step, hes off again

Rain

It's raining outside but that's not unusual
But the way that I'm feeling is becoming usual
I guess you could say
The clouds are moving away
Away from your days
And into mine

Now it's raining inside and that's kind of a shame
And it's getting to me, a happy man
And why should you want to
Waste all my time
The world is yours
But I am mine

Rain, rain, rain, in my tears
Measuring carefully my years
Shame, shame, shame, in my mind
See what you've done to my life

Rain, rain, rain, in my tears
Measuring carefully my years
Shame, shame, shame, in my mind
See what you've done to my life

See what you've done to my life

Mercury Rev - In A Funny Way

,

On a Summer day
You can hear her call
But in a funny way
She reminds you of the Fall

On a Summer day
You can hear her call
But in a funny way
She reminds you of the Fall

Through the fields
And the streams
And the lakes
And the trees
And the grass
And the logs
Run all my dogs

And I am…
Home again

In the Autumn air
You can see her smile
But in a funny way
She reminds you of a child
In the Autumn air
You feel her soul unfold
And in a funny way
You feel your own explode

Through the fields
And the streams
And the lakes
And the trees
And the grass
And the logs
Run all my dogs

And I am…
Home again

On a Winter day
You can hear her call
But in a funny way
When the snow begins to fall

On a Winter day
You can hear her call
And in a funny way
You love her even more

Through the fields
And the streams
And the lakes
And the trees
And the grass
And the logs
Run all my dogs

And I am…
Home again

Through the fields
And the streams
And the lakes
And the trees
And the grass
And the logs
Run all my dogs

And I am…
Home again

On a Summer day
You can hear her call
But in a funny way
She reminds you of the Fall

On a Summer day
You can hear her call
But in a funny way
She reminds you of the Fall

R.I.P. Heath - A Tribute to Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger 4 April 1979, Perth - 22 January 2008, Manhattan

We will always remember you.

At 3:31 p.m., according to the police, a masseuse arrived at the fourth-floor apartment of the building, at 421 Broome Street, between Crosby and Lafayette Streets in SoHo, for an appointment with Mr. Ledger. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of the bedroom Mr. Ledger was in. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed, with sleeping pills — both prescription medication and nonprescription — on a night table. They attempted to revive him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities. As the news reports spread quickly, throngs of people gathered in the neighborhood.

"I only do this because I'm having fun. The day I stop having fun, I'll just walk away. I wasn't going to have fun doing a teen movie again.... I don't want to do this for the rest of my life....I don't want to spend the rest of my youth doing this in this industry. There's so much I want to discover." - Vanity Fair (August 2000)

"The challenge was to capture the stillness of him. I have kind of semi-frantic, nervous energy. Harnassing that was something I thought I'd have to work out. Shooting in the wilderness, the stillness became like this innate quality." -on his character "Ennis" in Brokeback Mountain (2005).

Brooklyn seems to me the closest thing in America to Europe. The neighbors and locals are beautiful people. It's like a village.

"She's my soul mate and we couldn't love each other any more than we do already. We're like two peas in a pod." [On girlfriend and the mother of his daughter, 'Michelle Williams']

"Matilda is adorable, and beautifully observant and wise. Michelle an I love her so much. Becoming a father exceeds all my expectations. It's the most remarkable experience I've ever had - it's marvelous." [On daughter Matilda and being a father]

My life right now is, I wouldn't say reduced to food, but my duties in life are that I wake up, cook breakfast, clean the dishes, prepare lunch, clean those dishes, go to the market, get fresh produce, cook dinner, clean those dishes and then sleep if I can. And I love it. I actually adore it.

I'm not good at future planning. I don't plan at all. I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow. I don't have a day planner and I don't have a diary. I completely live in the now, not in the past, not in the future.

Ennis Del Mar: I'm gonna tell you this one time, Jack fuckin' Twist, an' I ain't foolin'. What I don't know - all them things that I don't know - could get you killed if I come to know them. I ain't jokin'.
Jack Twist: Yeah well try this one, and I'll say it just once!
Ennis Del Mar: Go ahead!
Jack Twist: Tell you what, we coulda had a good life together! Fuckin' real good life! Had us a place of our own. But you didn't want it, Ennis! So what we got now is Brokeback Mountain! Everything's built on that! That's all we got, boy, fuckin' all. So I hope you know that, even if you don't never know the rest! You count the damn few times we have been together in nearly twenty years and you measure the short fucking leash you keep me on - and then you ask me about Mexico and tell me you'll kill me for needing somethin' I don't hardly never get. You have no idea how bad it gets! I'm not you... I can't make it on a coupla high-altitude fucks once or twice a year! You are too much for me Ennis, you sonofawhoreson bitch! I wish I knew how to quit you.
Ennis Del Mar: [crying] Well, why don't you? Why don't you just let me be? It's because of you Jack, that I'm like this! I'm nothin'... I'm nowhere... Get the fuck off me! I can't stand being like this no more, Jack.

Something bad has happened

On a quiet sunny morning, which is not unusual for these parts of the world during the Christmas holidays, I went out for a walk along the river, in suspense that the water would still my thoughts and make them flow in the true order. I remember sitting on a bench by the water and having a cigarette or two. I also remember a sheer conversation with an acquaintance in an accidental meeting there. What I do not remember is that I somehow drifted away from that location onto another and continuously walked along tidy streets and sidewalks, passing by windows of shops which stopped working a long time a go.

I know that my perception started working again when I saw the gothic La Capilla del Obispo in the distance and a force to me unknown started dragging me towards. Then I saw the fixation. A flag. A large red flag with a sun widespread. It was an embassy of a country unheard of. The thing was that on the corner of the flag there was a black ribbon, like it was that country’s entombment that day. I mingled with the people standing in front of the embassy and did not understand a word. Then I truly realized – something bad has happened. It must be the end of the world.

On a splendid sunny morning, which is very unusual for those parts of the world during the Christmas holidays, a team of eleven young peacemakers departed Bosnia after the conclusion of their mission and headed towards their home country Macedonia to see their families after a long period. They were all killed on the way, only several minutes from landing.

Soon after I returned to my hotel room I started to search the news channels for the story, but there were no news. There was no news. Something bad must have happened.

I Will

I will
Lay me down

Underground

I won't let this happen to my children
Meet the real world coming out of your shell
With white elephants

I will
rise up

Blue Would Still Be Blue Lyrics

109 Blue Would Still Be Blue.wma

It's not raining cats, it's not raining dogs
And pigs are not flying, or turning the cogs
The sun has no hat on, whenever it shines
And I've never seen a cat with nine lives
I'm not in a film, I'm not in a play
I saw no aliens today
I just saw you, and thought of me

And if I had you, all the stars wouldn't fall from the sky, and the moon wouldn't start to cry
There'd be no earthquakes
I'd still make mistakes
If i had you
Oh there'd still be day and night, and I'd still do wrong and right
Ooh
Blue would still be blue
But things would be easier with you

And this is no palace, the place that I live
And I am no king, but I've got things to give
And I waste so much time, thinking of time
And I should be out there, claiming what's mine
Any day I could die, just like I was born
And this bit in the middle is what I'm here for
And I just want to fill it all with joy

And if I had you, all the stars wouldn't fall from the sky, and the moon wouldn't start to cry
There'd be no earthquakes
I'd still make mistakes
If i had you
Oh there'd still be night and day, and we'd all still have to pay
Ooh
Blue would still be blue
But things would just be easier with you

The Guillemots

" Colour Of The Night "

My love she hides a cruel disease
It's the bullet in her mind, it's the plan
between her knees
It's the colour of the night, it's the
number of the beast

My love she dreams of Tel Aviv
She's got nails in her hands and nails
in her feet
She's not from the Holy Land but she
think she used to be

Tell me when was hell so beautiful?
Tell me with your words that disagree
Tell me with your reason carved like granite
Tell me so that I can be free

My love she's like a cruel disease
She's the bullet in my mind
She's got a plan between her knees
She's the colour of the night
She stirs the beast in me
