Found out today that my official Log In Date at the CCAA was July 3,2007 so know i can get a better idea when we might be traveling... i am still hoping for end of Sept. Happy birthday to my big sis Brenda. Hope she is having a great day.our tshirts will be ready in a week or so. They have the chinese symbol for Family and say bringing zoe home . Well Its been a year since I first saw Zoe's precious face.My dossier finally made it to CCAA although I don't have a confirmed LID(some never do). next step is LOA(letter of acceptance) a new step added this year for adoptions. It is to reaffirm your intention that you still want your child. It is to stop the disruption of adoption once people get their child. thinking about that... IMHO i feel the SN route was the best way to go. You really get to know more about your child,pictures,videos and some time visits from other people. In NSN after waiting 2 years for a referral its hard to imagine a family saying no to any child. There are some instances when there has been an unknown issue... the paper work is submitted to CCAA when the babies are pretty young so some things might not be noticed or developed yet.I think for the high number of placements every year that the CCAA does a great job. so yes it has been one year... the wait now will go quickly (summer always speeds by)so we wait for LOA(40-90 days??) TA-travel approval(10-40 days) then travel. can you help even a little... we are trying to raise the 3000.00 orphanage donation. Zoe's orphanage is a very poor one , only a handful of adoptions done. we have a magazine fundraiser: http://www.magfundraising.com/getzoe I will have Tshirts in a week or so... they say believe in ... and have the chinese symbol for family... and bringing Zoe home in small letters on the bottom... we are asking for a 12$ donation shipping will be around 4.50 for 1,2,or 3 .Also if you do get a tshirt we are asking that you take a photo( if you are ok with that)and email it to us to be put in Zoe's scrapbook. If you are nearby us we will try once she is home to have a meet and thank you and try to get a group pic with the tshirts. I have seen others do this and it was pretty neat. This fathers day was very hard. I hated everytime they talked about buy dad this and all the emails talking about fathers day. I really miss my dad and wish that we could go back to when i was 7 and at the beach or later playing cards. It is very sad that our kids won't have that fun , Zoe will never know her grandpa in person but she will certainly know about him. this video just proves the point no matter your age, no matter the circumstances, nobody wants to be without their daddy... peace Bonnie
I rec'd a birthday card from my mom and she signed it to the "special kid" which was my dads name for me along with the young and the restless... it made it seem as if it was from my dad also...
I rec'd a wonderful gift from Kim a mom waiting to go get her daughter. She was able to visit the center in may and sent these photos of Zoe.I see from some of the pics that the hairbands I sent in oct are being used, on the other girls, Zoe is wearing a pink headband as a bracelet. Kim had this comment about Zoe "she was there. quiet, and beautiful" Thanks again. also the little girl that came to the swi the same day as Zoe has been placed back at the center. The 7th was my birthday, my mom called and sang happy birthday, guy remembered when he heard my mom singing, desi remembered but he was in school, shari called, for me to watch the grand boys, which is always a funtime... she didnt remember... until my sister michelle called... doh... But the best thing was that my papers came from Albany so I went to ups and made two complete copies of everything just in case... it took 45 mins over 109 pages. But It got done and sent off. heres the path. pretty impressive

Xin Hui is becoming more lovely and beautiful. She is a smart learner and learns several new nursery rhymes this month. The teacher gives children red paper stars when they perform well in class. And XinHui has got many stars. She is potty trained and doesn’t need any diapers in the daytime. She has gained some weight this month.
ALSO LEARNED THAT SHE WILL MOST LIKELY BE SENT BACK TO HER swi THE MONTH BEFORE i MEET HER.We have no choice no say in the matter hopefully she will adapt just fine.....last week of school for the boys woo woo.. can't wait I just love them boyz so much....

Update on Child: Xin Hui is a very smart little girl and very sweet, active with learning . She can tell little stories, and also loves to teach the Nanny what she learned from her teacher. She is quiet, would not disclose easily with the strangers. She is not very much for the nap time. She is getting along with the other kids very well.

Well my papers are in albany and I rec'd a phone call from a very nice woman who told me that one of my papers was lacking a county cert... which one? my birth certificate... the very first paper I rec'd back in november.Not a biggie, that is unless its my paper. All it entails is driving to batavia to get the county clerk to verify the registars signature. So I ask GuyGuy to go with me weds am since i had worked all night and then went straight to dentist for 3 hrs( if my eyes are shut and i am not talking It is considered sleeping). On my way back from the city I passed by where a barn had blown up right where i had passed not 2 hrs before. It looked like a plane crash there was burning debris on the highway divide across the road. he of course is thrilled (NOT) but he agress so we are 10 miles down the road and his car starts to overheat so we pull into a gas station and while it is cooling down I buy GuyGuy lunch,best burger in a long time.. so 1/2 hour later we are fed and on our way, 15 miles later we reach batavia, pull in court house and pops the hood and discovers a lovely little leak in radiator. GuyGuy go to garage to get part and i go do my 10 mins of paperwork.well Guyguy had to walk about a mile in 90 heat and was not a happy camper. But all in all got to spend some time with Dewey and got the last piece of the dossier done. everything should go out to agency early next week so dtc by my birthday would be good. Some people have just rec'd lid after only 4 days waiting, that would really speed things up.Desi off to washington DC with his class til sat night...i'll miss him but now me and TT can have some time together. take care BP[/size=1]
