I Fell from the Moon

Don't worry ma'am. I'm from cyberspace.

I have this thing for bandage

I do it every day and its so much fun. I like it rough and hard. Driving a scooter that is.

I overloaded my wrist while landing jumps, and now I need to take it easy to let it heal.

Rock on, dude :headbang: Narlly.

On a more serious note, hope that wrist gets better. P: Is that your writing arm?

DrLaunch 29. June 2009, 15:45

Yeah. Writing isn't a problem. Lifting stuff and twisting stuff is. Which I do a lot in my job.

Andrew Nguyen 29. June 2009, 15:47

Oh, bummer. :frown:

What do you do for a job?

Robert Jacobsen 29. June 2009, 16:28

Listen to this. It'll surely heal you. Or at least feel that you are getting healed.

Get better soon

DrLaunch 29. June 2009, 16:56

Right now I'm working at a gas station.

And thanks amnith. I'll listen to it when I'm back home.

Andrew Nguyen 29. June 2009, 17:03

The smell of gas has always amazed me, I don't know why. :eyes: :left: :right:

I thought you were studying IKT? :O

Karen 29. June 2009, 19:16

Homer: Doh! That sucks. Heal up quickly so you can get back to doing tricks! :D

I passed the final exam and now I'm an IT service worker, or what ever the english language term is. Although no employers in my area have seen the advantage of hiring an IT service worker yet, so I'm sticking to this job until someone do.

I can't really say they're tricks. It's a lightweight 50cc scooter with a top speed of 60 km/h. Basically it's just small jumps on tarmac edges, speed bumps and rocks on gravel tracks. And landing anything bigger would be next to impossible because of the almost non-existant suspension and microscopic wheels.

Robert Jacobsen 29. June 2009, 20:51

Just out of curiosity, where do you live? (If you're uncomfortable with the question, you're free to pass it! I don't want to seem intrusive!)

DrLaunch 29. June 2009, 20:57

Throw an arrow in the middle of a map of the southern part of norway and it'll touch down in the middle of the lake here. Although, don't do it, or you might scare away my customers.

Suntana 29. June 2009, 22:54

I warned you the last time around, DrLaunch. You have to hold on with both hands when jumping over several buses with your scooter. You can't be holding on with 1 hand, while eating a bacon sandwich with the other. :D

Nah! C'mon! Tell us the truth. I want to see that YouTube. Someone probably dared you to break a brick or a board or a block of ice with a Karate Chop, right?

Kimberly 30. June 2009, 07:18

lmao

DrLaunch 30. June 2009, 07:36

Nope. It's as boring as inflammation in a tendon because of some itsy bitsy jumps.

Alexei 30. June 2009, 18:55

Ouchie! We wish you a speedy recovery

Vy Nguyen 1. July 2009, 06:11

:eyes: Ouch! It looks hurt! ... My uncle once got injured like that, and took him like forever to recover. :o: ...

Randall 2. July 2009, 20:05

I'm guessing you wrapped it yourself?.... DOC.

DrLaunch 2. July 2009, 21:53

Not that one, but the one I used today and yesterday, yes. I'm a wizard with bandage.

I know battlefield medicine level 2, which is the standard for infantry soldiers in Norway. Luckily, a lot of that applies to real world situations as well.

You're in a car accident and your thigh is pierced by a broken piece of your car dashboard? No problem. I'll just stop the bleeding using a torniquet, cram bandage into the wound and seal it of using bandage. I assure you, you won't bleed to death before you reach the hospital.

You've stopped breathing as well? I'll start doing heart and lung rescue.
You'll be lucky I came to the scene so fast.

You twisted your ankle? Bandage.

You've broken your collar bones? Bandage.

But I'm nothing compared to real medics or real doctors.

Suntana 3. July 2009, 15:18

If there are no bandages available, will bacon work?

DrLaunch 3. July 2009, 17:51

No. Bacon sweaters are possible. But bacon bandages won't work.

reeboker 6. July 2009, 14:32

be happy that you're in one piece, wish you fast healing

Randall 6. July 2009, 18:55

yeah heal them CSS hands p:

DrLaunch 6. July 2009, 20:15

It's starting to feel better already. I don't need the bandage anymore. But I'm still taking medicine to get completely rid of the inflammation.
