I have this thing for bandage
Monday, 29. June 2009, 15:39:08
I do it every day and its so much fun. I like it rough and hard. Driving a scooter that is.I overloaded my wrist while landing jumps, and now I need to take it easy to let it heal.
Don't worry ma'am. I'm from cyberspace.

It's really an impossible task to sum up ten years in a handful of photographs, but below is my best attempt at a look back at the last decade
We have theorized about space battles for decades in films and TV, but what happens if we get out there, go terraform Mars, and the Martian colonists actually revolt. Or suppose we encounter hostile aliens. How would space combat actually go?

On a more serious note, hope that wrist gets better.

I can't really say they're tricks. It's a lightweight 50cc scooter with a top speed of 60 km/h. Basically it's just small jumps on tarmac edges, speed bumps and rocks on gravel tracks. And landing anything bigger would be next to impossible because of the almost non-existant suspension and microscopic wheels.

Nah! C'mon! Tell us the truth. I want to see that YouTube. Someone probably dared you to break a brick or a board or a block of ice with a Karate Chop, right?

Nope. It's as boring as inflammation in a tendon because of some itsy bitsy jumps.

I know battlefield medicine level 2, which is the standard for infantry soldiers in Norway. Luckily, a lot of that applies to real world situations as well.
You're in a car accident and your thigh is pierced by a broken piece of your car dashboard? No problem. I'll just stop the bleeding using a torniquet, cram bandage into the wound and seal it of using bandage. I assure you, you won't bleed to death before you reach the hospital.
You've stopped breathing as well? I'll start doing heart and lung rescue.
You'll be lucky I came to the scene so fast.
You twisted your ankle? Bandage.
You've broken your collar bones? Bandage.
But I'm nothing compared to real medics or real doctors.

No. Bacon sweaters are possible. But bacon bandages won't work.
