My son and I are talking about ways to earn extra income, I have been involved in buying and renting properties,so this is what I tend to think about.I have an extra bedroom and since I'm in State college ares near Penn State Universety, I think I would like to try renting that room,maybe just weekly or weekends to people who are here short term.I know it can be hard to find someplace to rent especially for graduation, football games,meetings ect.I think I will make that my next goal.Meeting new and interesting people,might just give me a lift.I need to do something,I like having my own business,in fact I would like to buy some property here for rental income.

TODAY WASN'T SO BAD,FINALLY GOT MY GLASSES AND MY MOTHER WAS BETTER THAN USUAL, SHE ONLY HAD TO GO TO THE BATHROOM ONCE.ALSO BOUGHT A SEWING MACHINE, RUG SCRUBBER AND SOME SHOPPING.I HAVE A STRONG DESIRE TO HAVE MY OWN BUSINESS AGAIN, OR AT LEAST WORK AT SOMETHING INTERSTING PARTTIME.I AM SO TIRED OF NOT HAVING ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY BILLS OR JUST BEING ABLE TO BUY SOMETHING.MAYBE A LITTLE GOOD NEWS THE LADY THAT ANSWERED MY AD SOUNDS AS IF SHE WOULD WORK OUT.SOMETIMES I WONDER WHAT THIS LIFE IS ALL ABOUT AND WILL IT EVER HAVE ANY MEANING. OH WELL TOMOROW IS AMOTHER DAY I GUESS WE HAVE TO LEARN TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT AND TRY TO MAKE CHANGES.

Surprise! Finally writing in my jounal.Can't believe tomorow is Thanksgiving,I'm still wondering what happened to summer.I guess my plans went down the tubes.I wanted to walk every day, get into an exercise class, loose 10 lbs. I need more motivation, look in the mirror and trying on a dress will do it for the moment,but I get busy and that is that.I will try again.I do know if you want change you have to make it happen.It is very frustating to me not to be able to get things done,So many things Iwant to get done in the house and garage. Move furniture, put up pictures. I also nees to find my way around this area so I can have a little more freedom.

help with blogging, ebay, son teaching ebay, learning

My son, jeff, is trying to come up w/ items for me to try my-hand-at-selling on e-bay. Since he rolls his own cigarettes, but buys a certain kind of rolling paper, he's always left w/ the papers which come with the tobacco product (as, the regular papers do not fit into his rolling machine, he says...)
Jeff put the several cigarrette papers in a box, arranged them a bit, and made this "sign" for me to put on e-Bay. What do you think? With having so much to practice with on e-bay, I figure any attempt to sell is a step in the right direction. My son is encouraging me to "find stuff from around the house-- it doesn't have to be some Lost Ark, or Golden Chalice-- there is a lot of stuff around the house that you don't use (like the papers, he says) which can go on e-Bay.
But i'm not so sure. Is he right in thinking that I should just go for it (within reason), or should I be much more reserved, and particular about the sorts of things i'll try to actuion?
i will really appreciate any feedback you've got for me on this one!
