Hated buzz words

A pointless post, but I just hate the word Blogosphere. Eww. It's one of those pretentious made up buzz words, that hardly means anything and tries to make something sound important. Does anyone seriously use this word? It doesn't even sound nice. It's probably even worse than Web 2.0, although I'm still waiting for Web 2.1 to come out and iron out all the bugs.

I hate it *and* use it. Actually, I use "echo chamber" preferentially, but switch to "blogosphere" when around people who might take offence.

Blogosphere uses it a lot :D

I'm most irritated when "OMGWEB20LOL!!" guys confuse plain old DHTML with AJAX (especially the gesture-hostile annoyingly slow Litebox "AJAX" image viewer)

So... what else would you use to describe the "blog community"?

Does anyone really like any buzz words at all? If I would have to say I hated a buzz word, it would be the term "buzz word" it self. :/

Now when that is said, go back to write about Ajax, Web 2.0 and POSH p:

I hate the word "blog", and all its derivates. "Blogosphere" is probably the worst of the bunch.

"Weblog" is okay though, that's a perfectly cromulent word.

Or those who confuse plain old Javascript with AJAX. (That AJAX file with extension ".js")
