Slightly ajar

iframe closed, Google open

, ,

Google has now finally closed their iframe, and fixed the problem with Orkut scrapbook. So, now it will work again in Opera, and their own Astroid browser. Thanks for that. I'm sure our users will very much appreciate it, as this issue has been hugely reported. I hear murmurs from QA that they finally don't have to mark duplicate bugs all day. Thanks to all the users that wrote in. Have fun. I never really realised how popular Orkut was. Even huge sites like Yahoo! Mail never had so many duplicates when it was broke.

@coxy: O rly!? Brazillian women??? :eyes: Maybe I should get an account setup...

Maybe Google should invest in some QA perhaps?

why should they when opera does it for them, even precisely telling them how to fix the crap they produced? For Google, this was no monetary loss. It probably was for Opera, in terms of users that switched to another browser to get Google working again.

In Brazil, almost nobody knows Facebook. A few know MySpace. Orkut is *the* social network in Brazil.
