Beginners guide to CSS

Are you interested in learning CSS, but everything seems so complicated, and you don't know where to start? If this sounds like you then the guys and girls at Westciv have just restarted their free online CSS course. This starts at an absolute beginners level, so it should be suitable for anyone with an interest in learning standards based web design. The course runs every Monday for twelve weeks, and should take around ten minutes each lesson to complete. If you enjoy their free courses and want to take it further, they have a range of courses for purchase at a very reasonable price.
John and Maxine from Westciv also run the annual Web directions South conference in Sydney. I should be attending for the first time this year, and if it is anything like the fantastic Web Directions North, which they organised with the help of Dave Shea and Derek Featherstone, I can highly recommend it. WDN had an incredibly fun two days of Skiing after the event, so I wonder if surf's up for the Australian event?
While I'm promoting the good work Westciv are doing, I should hi-light their CSS editor, Style Master. This is a tool written by people that have been promoting web standards for a long time, so you know it isn't going to produce junk. I'd recommend anyone to try out the 30 day trial and see what you think.
