Rotate between Panels with Hotkeys!

,

I got this idea from tomu's TTT-buttons panels, so we should give the credit to him.

1. Add F6 as the shortcut, then insert these actions:
Focus panel > Focus panel, 0 > Focus panel, 4 > Focus panel, 3 > Focus panel, 2 > Focus panel, 1

2. Then modify F7 actions to:
Focus panel > Focus panel, 0 > Focus panel, 1 > Focus panel, 2 > Focus panel, 3 > Focus panel, 4

Now you can rotate between panels with F6 & F7. If you use more than 5 panels, then you need to add more panels into the actions syntax. (Example: Add Focus panel, 5 after/before Focus panel, 4 if you want to rotate between the 1st & the 6th panel)

For Mouse Gesture setup, go here: Rotate between Panels with Mouse Gesture

Great idea. Now do this to reduce your brain overload:

[1] F4 --> F4 alt

[2] F4 shift -- > F4 alt shift

[3] F4 --> Focus panel > Focus panel, 0 > Focus panel, 1 > Focus panel, 2 > Focus panel, 3 > Focus panel, 4 > ... Focus panel, n

where n = the count of panels you have and you fill in the ... with more Focus panel, n directives

Why do you need to cycle up and down?

Why do you need to remember both F7 and F4 to work with the panel?

:D :D

I have ctrl+6 for focussing on the Notes panel and then I just press shift+tab once and then i can navigate panels with up and down key.

Too simplify, one can setup the key F4 or F7 for opening the Notes panel.

Or setup direct shortcuts for every Panel. ctrl+1,2,3,4,.....etc
