Delete Private Data & Shutdown Opera Now!

, ,

Opera got an Empty Cache on Exit feature, but it doesn't have Delete Private Data on Exit... So, for those of you who want to use this feature but doesn't want to wait for Opera to add this handy feature later - I present to you the "Clear & Exit" button! cool

Button A: Clear & Exit
(Click on button to DPD & shutdown Opera, click on down-arrow to setup DPD)

Button B: Clear & Exit
(Single-click to DPD & shutdown Opera, press & hold on button to setup DPD)

NOTE: Make sure you setup a proper DPD settings first before you use the X button to "Clear & Exit", you only need to setup the DPD once & it will be remembered for future access, unless you want to change the settings...

Hi Dude,
Thank for buttons.
Can you add re-open function in this button.
Or only to change "exit " button in this message.http://my.opera.com/community/forums/findpost.pl?id=3039046

Sometimes we change settings and need re-start opera.but you know while opera closing , waits a few minutes -to maintenance or closing sessins ,etc.- and if open
it you can take some error message...

Is it possible to make a button which first it will close opera and re-open it automatically...

Maybe you can make it by working an extra .bat file...
What is your comment?

thanks

Hmm... You will have to ask Tamil for this one, I'm not really a computer savvy guy. p
I think Tamil can include "Restart Opera" command into his handy Opera Launcher.

AFAIK, Opera do have a "Restart Opera" action (typed "restart opera" in the keyboard setup's action field & you will see it), but for some reason it never work as it should be!!! irked
