A while ago, I wrote about Did I bookmarked this page yet?!!, which provide some workaround for the broken
button (Highlight Bookmarks)... Well, this time I will introduce yet another useful trick - How to highlight ALL bookmarks that share the same domain with current tab! This trick will allow you to find all bookmarks with same domain quickly.
A. Buttons
Get it from HERE
NOTE: Both buttons require Javascript to be enabled in order to work.
B. Setup Shortcuts
1. First, go to Preferences(Ctrl+F12) > Advanced > Shortcuts > Mouse/Keyboard Setup.
(& create a new mouse/keyboard setup, if you didn't do that already)
2. Next, double-click on a Mouse/Keyboard setup you want to use, select Application section.
3. Finally, create/modify a shortcut with your preferred MG/Hotkey with the following actions:
Display matched result inside Bookmarks Panel
Go to page, "javascript:void(prompt('', document.domain));" & Delay, 1 & Copy & Click default button & Delay, 1 & Focus panel, "bookmarks" & Focus previous widget & Focus previous widget & Activate hotlist window & Focus next widget & Delay, 1 & Clear & Paste
Display matched result inside Bookmarks ManagerGo to page, "javascript:void(prompt('', document.domain));" & Delay, 1 & Copy & Click default button & Delay, 1 & Manage, "bookmarks" & Focus address field & Delay, 1 & Clear & Paste
NOTE: Both syntax require Javascript to be enabled in order to work.TIPS: You can add below syntax at the end to auto-clear the result after X seconds:
& Delay, X000 & Clear & Focus next widget
C. How It Works?
Simply press the button or execute the shortcut to display all bookmarks with matched domain as current page inside the bookmarks panel/manager. You will lost your clipboard content after using this trick!
CREDITS: I didn't wrote the entire syntax all by myself, another gracious contributer for this trick is Tamil. So, if you enjoy this trick don't forget to thank him too.
