How to Open Specific Session Quickly?

,

I provided some buttons in Quick Access to Sessions, & also a work-around in Bookmark Folder vs Sessions Manager for manage sessions. This time, I'll show you how to open specific session quickly, without using the Bookmarks folder trick or the Sessions Manager!

Clarification
Opera sort sessions by name alphabetically. Thus, we need to find out the order of the session in the Sessions list in order to open it via shortcus/buttons. You can find out the order of a session from the way it's listed under File > Sessions. This is how it's listed:

Save This Session...
Manage Sessions...
---------------------
Session, 1
Session, 2
Session, 3
Session, 4
Session, 5

A. Setup Shortcuts
1. First, go to Preferences (Ctrl+F12) > Advanced > Shortcuts > Mouse/Keyboard Setup.
(& create a new mouse/keyboard setup, if you didn't do that already)

2. Next, double-click on a Mouse/Keyboard setup you want to use, select Application section.

3. Finally, create/modify a shortcut with your preferred MG/Hotkey, & input the following actions:
Select session, #

NOTE: # is the order of the session listed under Files > Sessions.

B. Generic Session Buttons
These are plain looking session buttons, but they will work very well:
Session 1 | Session 2 | Session 3 | Session 4 | Session 5
Session 6 | Session 7 | Session 8 | Session 9 | Session 10
Session 11 | Session 12 | Session 13 | Session 14 | Session 15

C. Customized Session Buttons
How to make your own personal Session button with minimum effort:
1. First, setup a Hotkey for converting syntax into Linked Text Button with this syntax:
Cut & Insert, "X" & Previous word & Previous word & Range next character

2. Next, copy below syntax & paste it into a textbox (use the Opera forum's Quick Reply):
Select session, #,,,"ICON"

3. Then modify it as you see fit, below is the legend:
# is the the order of the Session listed under File > Sessions.
ICON is the name of the icon from current skin. (Go HERE for available icons name)

4. After done editing, select the whole syntax & execute the Hotkey from step 1. Then, you can named the session button by replace the highlighted X with your desired name.

5. Finally, hit the Preview button (beneath Opera forum's Quick Reply) to turn it into a Linked Text Button. You can drag it into a toolbar, or simply click once to add it into Opera's My button section.

NOTE: Since there are no way to identify each session by name, these hotkeys/buttons will identify each session by the order listed under Sessions list. Thus, these hotkeys/buttons might mess-up after you add a new session, because the order of sessions might have changed! The ONLY workaround is input a number in front of each session's name to keep them in order. IMO the ability to identify each session by name is far more useful than identify 'em by the order listed in the Sessions list...
