This is probably not a very useful trick for most people, but you will find this trick very helpful if you uses Links panel very often. This trick inspired by Highlight Bookmark function, it will help you to locate certain link from webpage inside Links panel quickly...
A. Setup Menu
If you don't know how to edit menu setup, read this TUTORIAL before you proceed further...
1. First, open standard_menu (1).ini with text editor.
(Renamed standard_menu (1).ini to something else to prevent Opera from overwrite it)
2. Next, search for [Link Popup Menu] & [Image Link Popup Menu] section, then add this line under 'em:
Item, Highlight Link Address=Copy link,,,,"Panel Links" & Focus panel, "links" & Delay, 20 & Focus previous widget & Focus previous widget & Activate hotlist window & Focus next widget & Clear & Paste & Clear & Focus next widget
3. Finally, fire-up Opera & select the newly modified menu setup to apply the changes you just made.
B. How It Works?
When you want to locate a specific link (or linked image) from web-page inside Links panel, just right-click on it & select Highlight Link to locate it quickly. You will lost your clipboard content after using this trick!
