Open Bookmarks inside Panel?

,

Great, I help someone in the forum to create a button that I will never ever use... So, I might as well post it here for you guys who like to use the panels to view webpage for whatever reason. Personally, I only use the panels for Opera default functions - I never understand why people prefer viewing webpage with a small-screen over a big one...

Buttons
Here, this button will open selected bookmark into panel in small screen mode: Open in Panel

NOTE: This button will be always in "Active" mode because Opera want it to... bug

Those who want to conserve space for bookmarks panel, replace the "View" button with this button: View (Click on icon for default functions, click on the arrow to open selected bookmark into panel)

Hotkey/Mouse Gesture
Alright, you might prefer Hotkey or MG instead... So here is the syntax:
Edit properties & Focus previous widget & Focus previous widget & Focus previous widget & Focus previous widget & Check item & Click default button & focus panel & Enable handheld mode

NOTE: Make sure you setup this Keyboard/MG setup under Bookmarks Panel section.

Rotate through Panels with Arrow Keys!

,

I did wrote some tips on rotate through Panels with Hotkeys & Mouse Gestures in the past. Today, I discovered a bug in Opera that allow us to improve the F4 function: Able to cycle through panels with Arrow keys right-after activated the panel!

1. Go to Preferences(Ctrl+F12) > Advanced > Shortcuts > Keyboard Setup.
(& create a new keyboard setup, if you didn't do that already)

2. Double-click on a keyboard setup you want to use, & input F4 in Quick find box to find F4.

3. After you found F4 shortcut, replaced it's Actions with this:
Set alignment, "hotlist", 0 | Focus panel & Focus personal bar. Click OK twice.

Now, after you press F4 to activate the Panel, you can rotate through all available panels with the Arrow keys immediately! This is very useful if you don't want to use point & click method to reach custom panels.

UPDATE: Someone pointed out that pressing F7 twice will do the same thing by default.

Rotate between Panels with Mouse Gesture!

,

Previously, we talk about Rotate between Panels with Hot-keys. So, this time we will try to use Mouse Gesture to rotate between panels instead! You can choose to use GestureLeft/Right OR FlipBack/Forward OR any other MG that you preferred.

1. Go to Preferences(Ctrl+F12) > Advanced > Shortcuts > Mouse Setup.
(& create a new mouse setup, if you didn't do that already)

2. Double-click on a Mouse setup you want to use, then go to Advanced > Tree Widget section.

3. Look for GestureLeft (or FlipBack) shortcut, then changed it's actions command into:
Focus panel > Focus panel, 0 > Focus panel, 4 > Focus panel, 3 > Focus panel, 2 > Focus panel, 1 | Close page & Switch to previous page. Hit Enter once.

4. Next, Look for GestureRight (or FlipForward) shortcut, then changed it's actions command into:
Focus panel > Focus panel, 0 > Focus panel, 1 > Focus panel, 2 > Focus panel, 3 > Focus panel, 4 | Close page & Switch to next page. Hit Enter once, & OK twice.

Now you can use MG to rotate between panels when it's active.
NOTE: These MG will ONLY work when panel is active & the pointer is on a panel area!

Also, you can use the same MG to close & switch to previous/next tab when you focus on a Manager (e.g. Bookmarks Manager, Transfer Manager...etc). You can't do that by default, but when you combined this MG with Closed & Switched Tab with simple Mouse Gesture customization, you can close regular tab & Manager with the same MG.

Remove All Completed Download & Close Transfer Manager/Panel at Once!

,

Why you have to click on multiple buttons just to clear download list & close Transfer/panel? Here is a trick to do all these with just 1 simple mouse gesture!

1. First, go to Preferences(Ctrl+F12) > Advanced > Shortcuts > Mouse Setup.
(& create a new mouse setup, if you didn't do that already)

2. Next, double-click on a Mouse setup you want to use, & select Transfers panel section.

3. Then, click "New" button to create a new gesture & input GestureUp as the shortcut.

4. Finally, input Remove all finished transfers & Close page & Set alignment, "hotlist", 0 in the actions field. Click OK twice.

When all downloads are done, you can clear Transfer list & close Transfer manager/panel at once by placing the pointer on Transfer manager/panel & execute GestureUp!

NOTE: In order for this trick to work properly, you must place the pointer on Transfer manager/panel area when performing GestureUp... p:

UPDATE: I created some buttons for those who prefer using button instead...

Version A: Clear List | Version B: Clear List

Single-click on button will clear the list & close Transfer manager/panel. You can also choose to only clear list without close Transfer manager/panel with press & hold (version A) or click on the down-arrow beside the button (version B).

Rotate between Panels with Hotkeys!

,

I got this idea from tomu's TTT-buttons panels, so we should give the credit to him.

1. Add F6 as the shortcut, then insert these actions:
Focus panel > Focus panel, 0 > Focus panel, 4 > Focus panel, 3 > Focus panel, 2 > Focus panel, 1

2. Then modify F7 actions to:
Focus panel > Focus panel, 0 > Focus panel, 1 > Focus panel, 2 > Focus panel, 3 > Focus panel, 4

Now you can rotate between panels with F6 & F7. If you use more than 5 panels, then you need to add more panels into the actions syntax. (Example: Add Focus panel, 5 after/before Focus panel, 4 if you want to rotate between the 1st & the 6th panel)

For Mouse Gesture setup, go here: Rotate between Panels with Mouse Gesture
