As the popularity of Widescreen growing each day, so does the demand for
Dual Page mode (DPM) in Web browser. The basic idea of DPM is displaying 2 pages side-by-side at once, instead of just one page at a time... Isn't Opera already able to do that? Yes, Opera is a MDI web browser, which capable of displaying more than 2 pages at once! (except Mac ver.) Then what's missing? Well, currently there are no easy way to setup DPM, or navigate to next 2 pages quickly just like PDF Viewer does... Thus, I come up with a few tricks to emulate this DPM to allow Widescreen user navigate in DPM with ease!

I discuss about
Closed & Switched Tab with Mouse Gesture in the past, this time we'll try Hotkeys instead. By default, Opera allow us to use
1 &
2 single-key shortcuts to switch tabs, so I think it will be quite convenient if we can use
Alt 1 &
Alt 2 to
Closed & Switched Tab...

By default, Opera got 3 sets of shortcuts for
Back &
Forward actions... We don't need all of 'em, so we'll change one of 'em into
Close & Switche Tab actions. In this tutorial, I will change the actions of GestureLeft & GestureRight; but you can modify FlipBack/Forward shortcuts too if you like...
