23 and a freshman in college

I started school 5 years ago at a University and I didn't complete the 4 year program because I was being irresponsible. Years have passed and I went to a variety of community colleges and none of them seemed to work out for me/I didn't apply myself. Now I'm feeling more motivated to go(already registered working on my 2nd semester), but sometimes I feel like I just should have done this school stuff years ago and I would have been done already or even pursuing a higher degree. Are there any other people out there like this?? and if this was you and you surpassed the challenges at this age what did you do to motivate yourself??????? Comments appreciated!
