YOU
- yes YOU! I do not know if you ever have been alone in a room with the God of the universe
I even dont know if you are a believer in Him , or maybe you have known Him for Years.
I only know that I keep writing about the same subject over and over again just from different
sides
so It must be important for God for YOU to get to know Him, or to get to know Him
in a different way, anyway do you want to know how it could be like to be alone with GOD?
Read about my experiences and hopefully you will become really JEALOUS
hope so!
For me it all started many years ago when I used to dance alone , and by my self. One day I heard
His voice inside me" Anita , I want to dance with you!" Pussled I desided to follow that thought
and desided to buy some worship music, since I sure could not dance with Him playing "prince"
on my CD - no it had to be something about Jesus. Well I did not see Him or feel Him, but I pictured
Him there with me. know what ? after some years I was a different person. My fears were gone, my eating disorder
was gone and I had life inside and hope for my future. Yes, my inner life of prayer started
of like this, and then it continued by me sharing all my sorrows with Him AS I danced all alone in my room.
I shared my fears with HIm, my joys too and my hopes for the future. Sometimes I forgot all about time or were I was
Now and then I did sense that He was in my room, but I did not see Him , to my great sorrow.
Whenever I felt overwelmed with fear or hopelessness, the sky always cleared up when I did share
my feelings with Him during danceing. After some time I pictured my self danceing on a stage, and I did
too , but still it was supposed to be my way of being with God and not for the world to see.
I do not dance like this so often anymore,as times changes and so does my life with God.
These days I hardly can say a word - I just cry or long for something I can not have - like HIMSELF!
Yes, I do have Him in my heart, thats not what I mean, but there is something else I long for -
well, I can not tell you...but if you have the same longings, you will know. Its like a cry
for Jesus and Him only.
Anyway you may not be a dancer, and its ok. The point is that God would love to be with you
where you are at, and in a lonely place where you two may be alone.
Scary ? yes! a terrible scary thought, but would you like too dare face HIM?
I know you would! you are brave and bold, and guess what- you will not die!
How I pray?
Well I do just one simple thing, I share my heart using my own language or english.
I do have my bible close by but usually do not read much, only if I sense that I am to.I do bible studies at other times.
I may light a candle, only because I am very romantic
I also usually turn off all the other lights
because I can better consentrate this way. I may have background music - soft worship
I may bring some wine and bread to have a meal together with God as I talk with Him.
I do not pray much in " tongues" as many believers do, and this is because of my relation with God
its difficult to share my soul with HIm on a foreign language, and even God do not do that with
me, whenerver I sense His voice in me - He always speaks my language
so I can understand
HIM. If I am angry with Him or someone I tell Him, If I am .... whatever, He has to hear it all.
Know what love is?
When you share your fears with God you are telling him that you need Him, when you
share your pain with Him you tell Him that you trust Him for not hurting you,when you tell
Him your wrongdoings you tell Him that you trust in HIs mercy and forgiveness, when you share with Him
your joys,you tell Him that you want Him to be your friend. This is ways to love God.
This is how God expresses His love for you too.
Loving Him has nothing to do with telling Him you love Him on sundays in church or
by singing some songs in church. Its about sharing your soul with Him everyday and using your strengt to serve Him
everyday.In this way you get a deep relationship with Him that grow day by day.
God then will no longer be just Lord, a Father, a friend or brother- He will become a Lover !
This all starts when you dare come close to HIm and continue coming to Him no matter what.
You can not be intimate with God whitout sharing your hurtfull emotions and fears with Him
If you only share informations and knowledge with Him, you will very soon start looking for another lover
You see, only this are you created for - intimately knowing Jesus, by His spirit that He gives to the one who
believes in HIm.
If you want to - Gods spirit will draw you towards God and help you to open up your heart
and share !!!There is no other way to meet God face to face and live !
No power is greater than the power of Gods love, so dare be overpowered by this power
and see what will happen ! Stop hiding , He will never hurt you, and He never has.
No one can meet GOd on behalf of you, only you are invited to come alone.God deeply desires
to love you, I say it again ; Jesus deeply DESIRES to love you! Its not a burden for Him-
He desires to give you a deep feeling of being loved. So when You let it all go ( your fears)
And just say His name: Jesus!... I can not tell you how gladly He receives you!
When you kiss The God of the universe this way, let Him return your kiss.
Whatever you receive form Him: a inner strengt, an inner word of encouragement, guidance,
love expression.... whatever , write it down in a note book - this will by the years be your own
history with God, unlike the story of anybody else. You will look inside your notebook at times and remember
Gods love for you. This lovebook is for you and Him only, for no one else to see.
God will reveal Himself to you and by the years; His own heart will be known to you, and
there is nothing greater than knowing HIM, because that is what KNOWING Him means, knowing
is not the same as having knowledge about. Knowing Him is a treassure to be given you by Him
When He has you by Himself.It is the pleassure of feeling what He feels,thinking like He thinks
wanting to do what He does and so on.
No one can teach you to pray if you want to have this relationship - you are the only one who
know your own heart and the best way to express it. There is just one desicision you need to take
and that is: Do I want to meet the God of the universe ? if the answer of your inner Heart is YES!
then go to a room where you may be alone and say: Jesus.................
