Hearts on Fire, and a eagleview

living for knowing the Heart of God

Becoming or Beholding ?

,

“BEHOLD ! the lamb of God” John 1.29
“ BEHOLD, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part you will make me to know wisdom” psalm 51.6
“ But we all, with unveiled face, BEHOLDING, as in a mirror the glory of The Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the spirit of the Lord.” 2.cor 3 18
“Father ,I desire that they also whom YOU gave me may be with me where I am, that they may BEHOLD my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the earth” John 17 .24
Guess what- all things of God is so easy and natural- but religious people make it so hard and something that we have to strive for. This one f.eks- becoming like Jesus, behaving like Jesus, doing what Jesus would have done. No where in Gods word does it say that we are to become like Him, but lots of preachers tells us this as if it was a truth to obey.
Becoming like Jesus is like saying; becoming like GOD- an impossible idea ....

, and even if we strive with all of our minds and heart- we will never make it, will we? No, we will just waste our lives in a hopeless fight to overcome ourself. It was this wanting to become like God that made Satan fall from heaven and It was this thought in the garden of eden” you shall become like God and know right from wrong” that tempted Eve to obey the serpent.
Whenever you hear this “ do this or that and you will become like God” know that it is the serpent taking to you. Also this about doing what Jesus would have done in any situation to become like Him- imitating God is all that it is- playing “gods” in this world.
Jesus did not say; “imitate me” He said “ follow me!” and that is 2 different things. Where are the followers of Messiah? He has a lot of imitators, people who try to be “god”, but followers ?
Followers have to leave all and everything and follow after GOD in obedience to HIS voice, they have no time to do their own things like perfecting their behavior, fixing this and that about themselves- they have only one thing to do ; fix their eyes on the one they follow- or he may disappear from their sight. To behold is all that we need to hear- beholding is looking at the one we obey- our God.
Beholding Him, His glory, His personality, His character, His …. HIM! The lamb of God who take away our sins, The image of the invisible God, the creator of everything. There is so much to behold and admire with Jesus (Yahushua) you will be a bit insane at times if you get lost in beholding Him. You will for sure forget about yourself and your own perfection. Something will happen to you, but you will not notice. You will be lost in another world, in another way of thinking, and even your behavior will change. You may get more enemies, or new strange friends- but you will not really notice it- because you are too busy beholding HIM
You know that a human who admire another human will gradually become like that person- not by trying to be so, but for looking at that person for a long time. The same thing with me and you- if you behold Jesus- you become more like Him in every way- you are transformed. But what is it that happens? Follow my thought and do not miss this; what happen is that as you behold Jesus and obey His voice- He enters your inner being( by His spirit) and lives His life in and through you- that’s why you suddenly behave different and think different- God Himself lives in you and through you. You as a person is still the same- no perfections have happen to you, and if Jesus should withdraw Himself from you- you would immediately turn back to your normal YOU. Knowing this there is an end to all selfrighteousnes, no more will you ever again think or feel that you are “good” and among those who have “made it” you will know that you are not God- He is . You are not perfect- He is. You are not kind –he is.
To try to become like HIM is an evil pride and God will be my enemy if I try to become like Him “save me from that Jesus- I wanna be your friend- just beholding you”
Be Holy ! God says, and by that he means “ be separated from everything around you , and from yourself - to belong to me only” A saint is one that belongs to God- not one that behave perfect . to get this is so important, because it will save you from striving to become “God”, and loose you to be the one you are- and just Beholding the one who rightly is GOD- JESUS! He will not share His glory with a human who is trying to become like Him, no! He says;” behold my glory” No one who tries to become like Him, will ever see His glory, but the one who stop trying to be perfect will behold the
one who IS perfect and admire HIM!!!
Those who are set apart to belong to God, are a part of his bride- and are deeply loved by Him, not because they behave right, but because they bless His heart by turning their faces to Him and not their backs. Only in beholding does God see my face and I His. When I try to become – I have to do something and by hat I turn my back toward Him, and not my face.
“ I was crushed by their adulterous heart which has departed from me, and their eyes which play the harlot after their idols” Ezek. 6 9
When does a heart leave God? You know; when I stop beholding Him, stop looking for Him in the bible, in other humans, in nature- everywhere, when I stop listening to His voice, because I do not intend to obey it anyway- when this happen my heart leaves God- and He is crushed, just as you would be if the one you loved left you ( by turning their heart from you)
When do your eyes leave him and wander after someone else? When your heart has left God, your eyes follow – because where your heart is there your treasure also will be. If your heart leave God – your eyes will too. You no longer behold Him- your eyes start looking for some idol to behold.
What happen so? in many churches People pretend to be worshipping God, by still doing their duty to the church, by perfecting their own lives to impress others of their OWN spirituality, but their heart and eyes is set on something else- what ? If Jesus is not manifested through them, their own self is-no other option, so they work hard to show of that they are “like Jesus” - religion !!! nothing else, a sad waste of time and lives, and this causes so much grieve both to God and other humans, still whole churches is full of people who live like this, and preachers who help them continue.
TURN Your FACE and heart back to Jesus! It so easy to love Him- religion is HARD!

Your own self will always be as it is today, and improvement will only be shortlived.
I easily spot those who manifest Jesus- but there may be weeks and years between every time I meet one, they are so few. They are nothing apart from Jesus, but because they know that- they are not conscious about themselves- they are only conscious about beholding Him, therefore Jesus is free to manifest Himself in and through their lives- wonderful people, because the presence of GOD is all over them- I just love them!! and want to spend the rest of my lives with them , but apart from Jesus they would be nothing at all to admire- only selfish humans.
“ I will turn my face from them, and they will defile my SECRET place, for robbers shall enter it and defile it..” Ezek 7.22
The secret place of God is your heart- that’s the place where he desire to dwell- when you behold HIM He will .
“ and all the trees of the field shall know that I, the Lord, have brought down the HIGH tree and exalted the LOW tree, dried up the green tree and made the dry tree flourish. I the Lord have spoken and I have done it” Ezek 17.24

Remember GOD DO NOT HEAR WORDS- HE LISTEN TO OUR HEARTS
John 8.21
“I am the light of the world, He who follows me, shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life”

For more study on this read what Oswald Chambers have written many years ago.
He reveals some of the depths of God- the mystery of being one with our God- with Jesus.

“1.Tess 4.3 “ this is the will of God – your sanctification”
In sanctification God has to deal with us on the death side as well as on the life side. Many of us spend so much time in the place of death that we get sepulchral. There is always a battle royal before sanctification , always something that tugs with resentment against the demands of Jesus Christ. Immediately the spirit of God begins to show us what sanctification means, the struggle begins.
“ if a man come to ME and HATE not…his own life, he CANNOT be my disciple”
The spirit of God in the process of sanctification will strip me until I am nothing but “ MYSELF”
That is the place of death. Am I willing to be my self?, and nothing more ?- no friends, no father, no brother, no self interests- simply ready for death? That is the condition for sanctification.
No wonder Jesus said;” I came not to send peace ,but a sword” This is where the battle comes and where so many of us faint. We refuse to be identified with the death of Jesus on this point. “ but it is so stern” we say. “ he cannot wish me to do that?” Our Lord is stern, and He DOES wish us to do that.
Am I willing to reduce myself simply to “me” , determinedly to strip myself of all my friends think of me,of all I think of myself, and to hand that simple naked self over to God? Immediately I am, He will sanctify me wholly, and my life will be free from earnestness in connection with everything but GOD
When I pray- “Lord, show me what sanctification means for me” He will show me. It means being made ONE WITH JESUS!. Sanctification is not something Jesus Christ puts into me, it is HIMSELF in me.
1.cor.1.30 “ Of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us..sanctification”
The mystery of sanctification is that the perfections of Jesus Christ are imparted to me, NOT gradually, but instantly when by faith I enter into the realization that Jesus Christ is made unto me sanctification. Sanctification does not mean anything less than the holiness of Jesus being made manifestly. The one marvelous secret of a holy life lies not in IMITATING Jesus, but in letting the perfections of Jesus manifest themselves in my mortal flesh. Sanctification is “CHRIST IN YOU”.
It is His wonderful life that is imparted to me in sanctification, and imparted by faith as a sovereign gift of Gods grace. Am I willing for God to make sanctification as real in me as it is in His word?
Sanctification is an impartation NOT an imitation. Imitation is on a different line.”
