Neem is one of the most ancient and most widely used herbs on earth. However, intense scientific investigations of it's properties have not been undertaken until recently.

From the beginning of recorded history, people have taken advantage of the remarkable neem tree. Even before ancient herbalists discovered the analgesic qualities of the willow tree (which is used to make asprin), people used branches, fruit and leaves from the neem tree to cure many illnesses.

Neem toothpaste are being imported into the US from India. Germany makes toothpaste using neem bark extracts, but few stores carry the product.

Neem mouthwash is also being marketed now.

Neem soap is being made in America. There are a few neem based soaps imported from India and sold primarily in specialty shops that cater to Indian and Pakistani communities.

Neem is the ultimate herb.
