E Cig

An E Cig can be manual or automatic. It is a battery operated device. It is also known as vaporize cigarette. The Body of an e-cigarette is composed of a shell made of stainless steel, a battery of lithium-ion, a smart chip and electronic circuits which are controlled by programs, a chamber for atomizing the cartridge and the cartridge itself. Though many forms of e-cigarettes are available but the basic components are the same in all of them. The front part of the e-cigarette has an indicator which is a LED light cover. It glows when the user is smoking. LED lights can come in different colors.

In a manual e-cigarette the user presses the button and the heating element is activated and vapor is produced. This vapor is inhaled by the user. The battery of the e-cigarette is connected to a USB charger. The atomizer gets power by a lithium-ion battery which is rechargeable. Depending on the operating environment, frequency of use and the type and size of the battery the life of the battery varies. Different types of the battery charger are available such as car, outlet and USB chargers. In an e-cigarette, the battery is the largest component.

Invented by a medicine practitioner of China, Hon Lik, the e-cigarette was invented in China in 2003 and came in the market in 2004.He used to work for the company Golden Dragon Holdings which later changed its name to Ruyan which means resembling smoking. It then started selling the cigarettes abroad.
