Mark & The Norwegians

Well today is a special day. 17 years ago, Elizabeth went into labor and we drove to Heidelberg's 130th Station Hospital. The staff were disgruntled (though how one could be gruntled I'm not sure) as they had all just gotten the word they'd be headed to the Persian Gulf for the Gulf War-1. But, they got us through our (actually Elizabeth's to be honest) first delivery in fine style. The result was this "galoofey" boy--or should I say young man now?



What a joy he has (and continues to be) been. He has such a future in store for him. Smart and capable, and reliable. So much better than I was as a teenager I am sad to admit. His mom and I are very proud of him of course. We wish him the best on his special day.
