Rainy, gloomy day today in Stavanger. The mackerel must be happy in the harbor. My day was full again, starting with a meeting at 0900, then a tour through our primary training facility just north of Stavanger til lunch, then a meeting until about 1500 or so. Came back to the hotel, grabbed a snack, then to the house now that the landlord has headed off for the states.
Empty and reasonably clean, and trash dumpster is gone. Noticing lots of little imperfections in the house now that it's empty--but I still think it is a good choice overall. Lots of possibilities with how we use the rooms.
Mixed bag of furniture left in the house. Basement "family room" has a corner couch--pretty good size. Several bookcases, two coffee tables, two love-seats, and a chair--all leather (brown). Each of the "kid" bedrooms upstairs have a desk and chair--of varied quality/type/size. A couple of varied night-table type things and very small wardrobes (maybe two of them upstairs?). Lots of bookcases in the first floor "study".
Interestingly, no freezer compartment in the refrigerator--will have to rely on the freezer chest in the basement. Washer is extremely tiny--front loading.
I've got a shipment being delivered Friday along with some "loaner" furniture. Either tomorrow or Friday I'll try to get phone/internet in the house--at least start the process. Think I'll pass on the cable TV as we will get a satellite system from work.
All for now . . . pictures hopefully tomorrow or Friday.
