,

Thankfully, there are a lot of scientific advancements that transformed the movie industry. Often there is a new and exciting picture which sweeps viewers off of their feet. The eyes of the current generation are privileged enough to have seen these incredible spectacles. This really is feasible through the aid of the green screen Hollywood method. Thus this method involves mixing up a couple of pictures so that they seem to be in one frame. Without it, movies these days would certainly continue to contain unrealistic puppets and poorly drawn backdrops. Here are some motion pictures that were made possible by the green screen or "chroma key" strategy.

Star Wars. One of the first modern movies which used chroma key technology was George Lucas' "The Empire Strikes Back." Astounding battleship chases, interplanetary backdrops, and interesting settings would not be achievable without Chroma Key Technology. Imagine the Millennium Falcon zooming on a fake-looking background. Envision painted backdrops instead of the marvelous places the movie portrayed throughout a galaxy far, far away. It certainly does not seem very appealing, does it? Thankfully, Chroma key technology ended up saving the day by generating the creation of Lucas' imaginary universe achievable.

Titanic. Titanic is a huge tear-jerker of a movie. Who wouldn't be sad for poor Jack and Rose? Who is going to forget the legendary "I'm the king of the world" scene? Who did not hold their breath as soon as the hopeless vessel snapped in half after hitting the ice berg? This little bit of movie magic would not be feasible without the green screen Hollywood technique. Without it, the love story would not be believable. Bad quality pictures and backdrops will certainly cause the Titanic to sink at the box office.

300. This movie is a true graphic spectacle. 300 was shot entirely on green screen! Leonidas and the Spartans would not end up inside a visually beautiful atmosphere if it were not with the magic of the Chroma Key Technique. The appearance and feel of the motion picture wouldn't be the same with no chroma key technique. Without it, the idea of 300 troops beating an army of ghoulish individuals would likely appear to be plain chaos rather than beauty.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Gollum is by far among the eeriest CGI creations, and his look and feel in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy had been made possible by the Chroma Key. The creature's realistic routines had been captured via chroma key technology. Furthermore, the elegance of the Shire as well as other parts of the Lord of the Rings universe will not captured by simply producing life sized models. That is where the green screen comes in. It digitally created backgrounds which were put into the movie for just a more authentic feel. This made the motion picture all the more precious.
