What did I do Last Semestral Break For over four months of hard work and humble
endeavor, after stumbling on every quizzes,
assignments and exams. Finally, the vacation was
around. Well, I made a plan as for how I will spend my
semestral break. First, finish all my transactions
and requirements in the university. Second, help
my cousins in the household chores of my tita’s
house. Lastly, go home in Compostela. The whole semestral break for me was a disaster.
I stumbled upon on how I will manage my time
efficiently and effectively. I made a schedule
involving my time management which somehow
helped me to balance the equilibrium of my
work. From 5:00- 5:30 a.m, I would brushed the 3 lanais; 5:30- 6:00 a.m, swept the garden area
and its frontal road; 6:00- 7:00 a.m, watered the
plants; 7:00- 8:00 a.m, washed the Montero
sports; and finally 8:00 a.m beyond was the
allotted time to focus on my requirements in the
university. Although I often felt tires and exhausted but for
some vague reason a spark of light enters my
spirit giving me the strength to face my daily
challenge. I frequently telling myself, “I can do
this, this will lead me to my success.” Since I was not able to accomplish my task in the
university, I have no choice but to go home.
During my travel to the University for the last
time I ask mysef, “will I finish my requirements?”
But sadly I was not able to do so, so I have no
option but to hurriedly go home to Compostela. As I was travelling, I reminisced the moments
when I am with them; when I was in my loving
family. Then suddenly a tear fell down to my face
making my entire heart and soul sad. I rode a
“trisikad”, when I finally back to the house my
mama was standing beside the wall and with running feet hugged me tightly. I spent two days
and one night with them. Those were the days I
considered as one of the happiest in my life. I went back to Davao city happy. I rest for a day
and after that I worked on my clearances and
enrollment process. I had finished all my
requirements in the university and I was
officially enrolled. And that’s how my vacation
went down.
