Pat Maginess: Private-Eye

Hard Shelled Detective Fiction by Edward Piercy

Smart and Funny T-Shirts

Danny Roma (as I call him) sent me a link
recently to a place that sells some very
unique t-shirts. Certainly much different
than the whacked Neo-Con t-shirts that I
mentioned a while back. These shirts are
fun and smart. Even if you aren't in the
market for a new shirt, it's fun checking
them all out.

But these days I prefer to date
much younger artifacts.

Yeah, Lucy is hot. But it's homo erectus
that really gets me excited.

That culture really needed
to lighten up a bit.

When life gives you peas,
you invent genetics and make
pea salad.

Just like Marie Curie
used to make!

Guaranteed to get out all those
damn spots, or your money back!

I'll leave the rest of them for you to
discover for yourself. You can find them
at The Mental Floss Store.

There is a new trend among teens these days
They buy T-shirts that make a political statement,
the other day it was a big controversy when a guidance counselor gave a choice to a student to change in a T-shirt with the school logo or go home... Her own T-shirt Prez Bush as Hitler.
I appreciate a funny logo on a T-shirt but at times even a T-shirt can become offensive.
And what is with the English T-shirt invasion of a $250.00 and up with sculls printed on them ??
A t-shirt is a t-shirt ,it s a t-shirt .
Thanks Ed
I hope the next one is on swimsuits, it's time for all of us to buy an new one!

avatar

"I hope the next one is on swimsuits, it's time for all of us to buy an new one!"

I think that qualifies as an Official Reader Request for some hot babes in swimsuits pics! Alllll riiiiiiiight!

And, since you requested it Angeliki, the first one is for you.

Bette Davis

Stella Stevens

Ann Francis

Kirsten Dunst

Drew Barrymore

Elisha Cuthbert

Tricia Helfer

Kate Dillon

Scarlett Johannson

Whew! I'm all worn out. No wonder I don't do these Celebrity Babe posts anymore -- purely from the technical side, mind you.

I knew I was opening a new can of worm
great ideas !
now have some vegetable juice! I am having mine !

By ellinidata, # 25. May 2008, 22:04:50

avatar
@ Loku,
I always hated uniforms at school,
I wouldn't go back to them since they stop the individual development but a school dress code should be followed. I always check what my kids buy or wear. They call them minor because their mind is not developed fully,
being a parent has many responsibilities ,how the kids dress shouldn't be an exception

By ellinidata, # 25. May 2008, 22:08:19

avatar
P.S. I will keep Bette Davis just for who she was,
as for her swimsuit,
well
she needs a major make over !

By ellinidata, # 25. May 2008, 22:10:05

avatar
Did you get any swimsuit ideas?

No vegetable juice on hand. Iced tea or cola. Or coffee/creamer. Just had the coffee, though.

Q: Who in the hell was it that decided to put worms in cans in the first place? Because you know, it just sounds disgusting. No wonder that none of the grocery stores carry it.

By edwardpiercy, # 25. May 2008, 22:10:23

avatar
hahahaha you are funny now!
did you ever buy bait for fishing??
oh, I forgot that's Melissas dept.
I went to a Pennsylvania store and they had this machines. Pretty much the worms come out like a coke (I am glad you had coffee ). The can did hold them and the cover had holes... We did end up releasing them in the area around the lake  we are despicable fishermen.
so, now you get the idea.... or
I hope I learn another one reason for the expression.
So far my American Dream taught me this one!

P.S. no swimsuit idea as of yet.
I think you should give me some more :D
try Italian that let the sun through this way you have no swimsuit sun tan marks (did you see any ??) extremely sexy!

By ellinidata, # 25. May 2008, 22:25:35

avatar
No swimsuit marks? That's impossible. Unless your swimsuit is your birthday suit.

There are those swimsuits that have the thong bottom -- very little covered in the rear at least. But then you have the top part problem.

Of course, there's always this particular type of swimsuit. Yeah, maybe you should get that one.

By edwardpiercy, # 25. May 2008, 23:30:22

avatar
nope I am serious!
the Italian swimsuits are amazing!
I get the magazine in the mail,
I hope I will find the name of it!

By the way Andrea Lopez looks amazing with that rope.
If I use similar swimsuit,
I see that rope around my neck!
My kids are fed up with my restrictions ,
they will finally take out they frustration...
Find something for a 130lb woman.
Your ladies are size 0 I am a size 8.
Now give me some good ones for a real woman

I will look for the Italian thingy, the Italian models alone it is worth looking ! :D

By ellinidata, # 25. May 2008, 23:42:47

avatar
Now, in all honesty I would bet that Miss Scarlett weighs in at almost exactly 130 pounds. And she is shorter than you!

I think I might have to do an internet search for "Italian swimsuits" though. Just for research purposes for the blog, of course.

By edwardpiercy, # 25. May 2008, 23:54:26

avatar
I think she is 125 and her arms are fuller ..other wise she can pass for a a Mediterranean too :D

I can not find the Italian catalog, the models are much better than these..but the concept it is the same :D

avatar

I told you these days one can have a tanned butt!

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 00:32:19

avatar
Here's the link for that one. I guess it's a cheetah, not a leopard. But it's still great! RRRRRRRaaaaa scratch scratch claw claw!

I'll have to get back with you on my choice. It's going to take some research. :sherlock:

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 00:40:15

avatar
thanks !
BS aside it is beautiful,
After a winter of Yoga and Pilates I should show off my hard work

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 00:42:10

avatar
I will go with the swimsuit and the Sarong,
the shorts are granny type.No matter how comfy one wants to be lets not look silly.

Are you going for a speedo ?? :D

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 00:45:28

avatar
 Absolutely!

No no no, this has gotten out of order somehow. I mean "absolutely" to your great efforts, NOT to the Speedo!

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 00:46:37

avatar
now lets not get carried away here,
your has to be transparent too (in the right areas of course )

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 00:53:00

avatar
I went in search of a men's swimsuit. But I got a little distracted and somehow ended up with this. Angeliki, keep this in mind when you come to work for Pat Maginess as his secretary!

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 01:17:07

avatar
hey! this is a perfect match with the swimsuit!
I can leave th office and go directly to the beach!
or
I will do what I do these days,
skinny dipping in my bath tub

what distracted you (other than this... I have a feeling it was more :D )

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 01:24:04

avatar
No, just that. It doesn't take much any more. Hot babes in retro dresses, that'll pretty much do it.

Still working on the swimsuit. I'm eating at my desk, will have to take a itsybitsy nap afterwards. Then I'll come back here and get to serious work on that swimsuit thing.

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 01:27:30

avatar
I am eating at my desk too :D
Greek salad and kalamata olives
enjoy your nap
see you later

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 01:31:29

avatar
Okay, Angeliki. After a long and tedious search, I've finally got my new swimsuit picked out.

Whad'ya think?

BTW, you do realize that I don't know how to swim, right?

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 17:42:52

avatar
WOWWW !:eyes: .. is that really YOU edward?

I didn't know there was another person who still has a physique like mine  --- Far out man

(...errrr.. but who are those other dudes?) :D

By lokutus_prime, # 26. May 2008, 17:53:37

avatar
I'm not sure, but I think one guy is Rock Hudson. It seems I've been inadvertently hanging out by the pool with the wrong crowd. But hey, when they pass out free Singapore Slings, I'm in automatically.

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 17:59:53

avatar
My handsome Ed,
now before you invest any money on it lets' have a small talk!
no ,no, no, no. I am not saying it will not be great on you.
I just want you to thing about the color.
A private eye needs a little (how can I put it nicely here) finesse??
nah! it didn't come out right
what about a color that doesn't remind "bag pipes" Let's say black or dark blue??
you don't know how to swim??
no problem .Scarlet does know and she is invited to teach you...so what do you say?? ready to place an order ??

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 18:09:39

avatar
@ Loku,
I always thought you two resemble !!
the hair is different (your wig is so natural  )
Ed likes the hat look.

One thing you both can not hide is your powerful writing and I feel so privileged to be able to read both!

So, Loku what color are you choosing ??
your dark natural blond hair needs something to match! p:

Do you swim ??

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 18:13:24

Hey, I kinda like the plaid! Although I would be willing to go for a blue plaid or something. Or green. How would that be? But to be honest, I think the red plaid would really make me stand out from the crowd. Perhaps not in an ideal way, but stand out nonetheless.

PS And I'm definitely going to get the plaid shirt to match to cover up my pacemaker bumps.

I imagine Miss Scarlett would make an awesome floatation device. She's just got so much stuff to float. And I can honestly say that's the first time I've ever used that phrase, so much stuff to float... And to think I thought that it was going to be a boring day! :shrugoftheshoulders:

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 18:14:31

avatar
PSS I think I'm going to have to put that swimsuit ad up on a separate post.

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 18:23:59

avatar

Red never failed to stand out , Never !

Can you imagine if Scarlet comes accross your comment about
"so much stuff to float.." if she does I see you saying "hello" to the fishes in the bottom of the ocean. Of course after being touched by Scarlet it shouldn't be that painful!

another post will be fun too

By ellinidata, # 26. May 2008, 18:41:27

avatar
I think she would be flattered. She's never been shy about showing off her stuff!

Okay, I'm going to put that swimsuit ad on a new post. I keep thinking that if we go any longer here, this is going to go to a second page. And we wouldn't want that, would we?

By edwardpiercy, # 26. May 2008, 18:44:29

you are the :king: in this castle! Sorry, Loku

@ Dan. He He. We're just a bunch of cards!

I remember that one Far Side cartoon, also, with the local people rushing to hide all their electronics, screaming... "Anthropologists! Anthropologists!"

The t-shirts are definitely above average, but any post that gets you putting up as many babe photos as we have here in the comments is alright by me!
