New Squeaky Fuzzy Ball
Sunday, 8. June 2008, 18:59:57

As you might or might not know my dog Baron has been very sick lately.
It's just a general systemic thing and there is very little hope for a miracle.
But he certainly has (as always) been one tough dachsie through all of it.
Yesterday I got him a new squeaky fuzzy ball to replace the old one. He
really didn't need a new one, but I figured that getting a new toy would
pick his spirits up a bit. He can't walk currently, so chasing it is out of
the question; but I can throw it just in front of him as he lies on the
couch and he at least gets to take it in his mouth and make it squeak.
Dealing with Baron's illness has been difficult. I've been giving him
lots of attention, tons of extra kisses and pets, and I will be sure to
pat him on the head and tell him what a good dog he is.
I think that, at the end of our days, we just want to know that we are
loved and that we are valued. And we want others to know that we love
and value them. As far as that goes, dog or human -- no difference.
love does make miracles! Baron does feel the love and that can go a long way!
It is also true , dog or human ,
we all like to be loved .Love is the fuel of the heart and out heart is what gets us going
please pat Baron on the head for me too!

I just put a post up for you -- you might go to the main page and refresh and give it a look. It's just a stupid little thing to make you smile.

You're a good best friend, I think, Edward.

How old is your dog, now?

I miss having a dog around all the time. My Rotty buddy thinks he's a lap dog, and likes to sit on me when I see him. He weighs 125 lbs., so you can imagine what an hilarious spectacle that is!

Can't you just kidnap your dog or something? Ha, well, just joking...kinda.
Get a nice new smelly puppy!
Here's some ultra-cute Dobie puppies for ya!
How can you resist? Ha!

But I believe that our emotions are very similar. We all need to feel loved and cared for in difficult times.
I have no doubts that you are amongst the best of dog-owners, Edward.

he is sleeping and seems OK, he likes his new toy from you more than the one I just bought him
which is normal, he knows who his master is
