Jack Daniels -- Mustard?

As you may know every once in a while I go out and have a Jack Daniels
bourbon or two, usually Jack mixed with 7-Up. And sometimes I have more
than a few.

Well, it seems that the Jack Daniels people are making their own mustard.
Or perhaps more accurately, they are letting a company in Ohio use their
name on a mustard (J.D. itself is of course made in Lynchburg, Tennessee).

They have five varieties -- Regular, Horseradish, Honey Dijon, Hickory
Smoke and Stone Ground Dijon. I decided to buy a jar of the Regular.

It's very good mustard. It is more "mustardy" tasting than say French's
mustard, and it has this other flavor in it that I can't quite place.

Somebody told me that they also make Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce. I might
have to try that.

A few years ago me and some friends got the excellent idea to invent a meat beer.

A Bull Shot - vodka and soup - is a fine alternative to a Bloody Mary or a Screwdriver; why not take it a little further and maybe get an agreement with Carlsberg or Tuborg for the making of meat beer?

We wouldn't even have to change the logo on the cans.

:insane:

@ Martin. I've never heard of that stuff. Anyway, did ya sell the idea?

@ Darko. Instant cider. I don't know about that one. But I just heard last month that somebody has invented instant beer. I would bet that instant cider is at least better than instant beer.

Me too.

Well, to be honest we didn't really try to sell the idea. Some ideas are best kept on the theoretical level, you know.

The Elephant Beer is very good. Recommendable.

They don't let you buy beer on the internet? I should have known that, I guess. But it does seem that if you want to get a beer from Denmark, you'd have to do something like that even if you were a legal beer distributor.
