Internet Junk Drawer #6
Friday, 14. November 2008, 19:08:57
Once again, just some stuff I found
out there on the internet but didn't
use for any posts.
A studio still of Gary Cooper and
Barbara Stanwyck.
This is from the soundtrack CD to
Devil In a Blue Dress. I thought
it was a cool graphic.
The cast of Gilligan's Island.
I always wanted to take a three-hour
tour with Ginger.
Paris Hilton on a poster in arabic.
A cover for the comic book Red Sonja.
Those damn crazy redheads!
Opera soprano Patricia Petibon.
Those damn crazy redheads!
I guess he's packin' light.
If you've ever wanted to give yourself a
certificate in whittling, well just print
this out and sign it.
I think the next thing the worthy scout
needs to work on after his whittling is
his proofreading.
A patented method for preserving the
dead in blocks of glass.
Seriously.
Uh, no comment.
Should she be a good dog? Or...?
A photo of a flaming bag of poop on
a porch. Just in case you need one.
A very nice photo that I didn't use
in my Photos Revisited series.
A painting by Botticelli based on
Boccaccio's The Decameron.
And another Decameron rendition
by William Waterhouse.
As is the tradition with the Junk
Drawer posts, we conclude with some
sleazy photo of an actress or celebrity.
This one is of the Olsen twins, Ashley and
Mary-Kate, who I assume are dressed up
here for Halloween. Or at least I hope so.

I always thought the Professor was sexy. Smart, cute--the original McGiver.
And other than the Professor, Skipper, and Gilligan, they all sure took a lot of clothes along for a three-hour tour. Why was the Professor on that tour, anyway?

I guess those 15th century parties were a lot wilder than the 19th century parties.
My theory is that Mr. Howell was about to be indicted for fraud by the SEC and decided to escape by way of an "accidental" tour to a deserted island. He paid the skipper $1000 extra bucks to go out in questionable weather. You notice the Howells were the only one's who packed heavy?
I'm still working on a few details of the theory. Like, why the other ones packed.

She turned and looked at me as I stood there with my sixteen pounds of junk. "Here it is," she whispered.
Our eyes met and for a moment our souls exchanged loveletters. It was perfectly clear to me that she had not fully understood me when I asked her, "Where's the bin go?"'
