While culling the net for photos for my
Photos Revisited series, I've come across a
good number of photos of Marilyn Monroe.
With the exception of the eggs and milk
photo, the ones below are more intimate
than the cheesecake or glamour ones you
normally see.

Nevertheless, it is a reminder of how
much in the fishbowl huge celebrities
like Marilyn really are, that there was
a camera around even at these times.

It's the price of fame.

It's good to know that Marilyn was a
big supporter of the dairy industry.

Sometimes a girl just has to have

of the fireplace on a nice snowy evening,

...I wish.

Come to think of it, I don't have the
fireplace, either.

The bottom one always makes me sad due to her involvement with JFK, which I think was unfortunate. In fact I have this whole conspiracy theory thing that has the FBI murdering Marilyn to protect John and Bobbie's reputations.

I mean, who commits suicide by sticking barbituates up their ass? But that's exactly the kind of thing that would be done if somebody held her down on the bed -- forcing her to swallow them is difficult and she might vomit them up. So just shove them up her ass...problem solved.

I had no idea Marilyn ingested her fatal dose of barbiturates in such an unorthodox fashion.

Poor thing, she suffered a lot.

I do believe the same Ed,
from her last interview it was clear that she had plans..a person that is so close to take his/her life will not talk about what will happen in the next 3 months or so down the road ....
I can be compassionate but I feel any adult over 20 should have a common sense about their involvement... Glamor and money are great and we all can have them the easy way but they do hold risks...
