Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf. I saw them at a lowly dive in Kilgore maybe 20 years ago. There were only two of the original band but they were still touring, but oh, how the mighty had fallen. They still sounded good, but didn't have new material. I felt sorry for them.

Wow. Yes I remember now. I remember seeing the Pretenders down to the same minimal staff. Basically just Chrissie Hynde. Would have been a great concert if they hadn't rushed it so much.

Sasha jambs her head into the Blackberry to push it out of the way and give me kisses or one of her toys. I think she's jealous of the thing!

Well the boredom did lead me this afternoon to polishing my shoes. And I just got done fixing the bent earpiece on my good sunglasses -- amazing what a pair of needle-nose pliers will do.

I know my cats are dismayed and angry when I sit at the computer so much. I am supposed to be sitting in my recliner before the TV so they can lay in my lap.

If I am on the pc, they will get on top of the desk and lay accross my mouse pad and mouse so I can't move my hand. My Popcorn sneakily lowers her nose to my hand on the keyboard and keeps giving it little shoves. Topaz will just pretend the keyboard isn't there and walk all over it. And THEN lie on my mouse.

since we are very much into Science their names are :

our cats behave exactly like yours!

plus they like to sit behind my butt in a chair!
