Keck Observatory, Hawaii.

I've been noticing lately that there seem to be a good number of
similarities between me and President Barack Obama.

Obama has X and Y chromosomes. As it happens, I also have X and Y
chromosomes.

Obama is a fan of the Chicago White Sox. I also am a fan of the White
Sox.

Obama owns a Blackberry. I own a Blackberry -- although my carrier is
Sprint and not the National Security Agency.

Obama has a little girl named Sasha. I have a little girl named Sasha.

Obama went to Harvard. I studied with an archaeologist who went to
Harvard.

Obama gets e-mail from Scarlett Johansson. I also get e-mail from Miss
Scarlett -- in my dreams.

Obama is from Hawaii. My favorite telescope is in Hawaii, the Keck.

Obama looks great in his classy suits. I also looked great in my
classy suit -- until it was eaten by moths.

Kinda eerie, isn't it?

I hate to tell you this Linda, but it doesn't stop there. There were a few that I left out.

Obama has hair. I also have hair -- kinda sorta.

Yes, Angeliki, me and the President could get together and show each other pictures of our Sashas. Or maybe Sasha Obama will invite Sasha Gottataloveya to the White House for a sleepover.

Uh, better forget about that last one I guess. Until I can get her to go out of the house.

People often confuse me with Robert Downey Junior. I fail to see the resemblance at first glance as well as after scrutinating further, but I have learned to live with it.

You know we got Sasha in October but I didn't evewn think anything about it either until after the election. Wasn't paying much attention I guess.

Pam I guess it's quite the trek up Mauna Kea to 8000 feet. Kinda like driving in the Himalayas.. But you start in Kona and return -- so you get the beaches too.

Allow me to remind you good people that caffeine is a mild psychotropic substance, which technically means that you enter an altered state of conciousness when you drink coffee. Much like nicotine, only milder. Sometimes a 'communication gap' will appear between a person who has been drinking coffee (or smoking cigarettes) and a person who is clean. Most people don't realize this. The whole smoker/non-smoker issue has its roots in this dilemma.

(He states while sipping strong black coffee and lightning yet another cheap European cigarette.)

I don't smoke, but I am drinking coffee right now, and Dare is usually drinking coffee when he is on in his mornings. I am only in an altered state of consciousness if I DO NOT drink my coffee. Coffee normalizes me.
