Pat Maginess: Private-Eye

Hard Shelled Detective Fiction by Edward Piercy

Vampire Supernanny

Nanny Morticia of ABC's popular reality
show, Vampire Supernanny.

I watched Vampire Supernanny for the first time
the other night.

And all I can say is that it's amazing just how
much more quiet and well-behaved a kid can be
when drained of a quart or two of blood.

Afterwards I watched the new spin-off series,
Werewolf Dog Whisperer. Now that one is rather
disturbing. I can still hear the pathetic squeals
of that one French poodle.

Last night I watched another reality show,
Zombie Politician. That one is good -- very true
to life.

Well I'll be waiting so that we can have a "drink" together.

Wish I were there to really have a drink with you after. We could sit at a bar and drink tomato juice (uh huh) and Twitpic each other.

Angeliki, I know you are worried, but try to keep your mind off it. Someone is always on Opera to help you do that if needed.

edwardpiercy 24. August 2009, 06:00

gdare 24. August 2009, 07:34

Yeah.... P:

PainterWoman 24. August 2009, 15:28

I had to scroll very fast past her picture. Don't want visions in my head before I try to sleep.

Had to check and saw this was an RBS post. I figured because I'd never heard of any of those shows. In the past, I have watched Nanny 911 and one other. Wow, the chaos and screaming in the houses before and so much better after a week with nanny. I think sometimes parents scream too much.

edwardpiercy 24. August 2009, 15:41

Yeah Pam, after the little Paris vacation it was back to work and some serious Bullshit.

Aqualion 24. August 2009, 16:59

Meanwhile the creative minds at Danish TV4 have decided to rerun the first series of Danish Big Brother from 2001. This show started the reality craze in my part of the woods. Now, we have Farmer Dating, Young Mothers, Big Nation (about obese people trying to lose weight) etc. These shows might bring one or two to the state af spatulation.

Not me, though, I have moved on to maditation. Saw it on television. It works.

thetomster 24. August 2009, 17:44

:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: ... ah, thanks for reminding me ... there's been more than one reason why I don't have a tv ...

edwardpiercy 24. August 2009, 19:30

@ Martin

Farmer Dating. I like the concept.

@ Dirk

I wish there were shows as interesting as that on TV.

L2D2 25. August 2009, 05:41

I hope the so called reality shows hurry and go the way of the dodo. Some of them are just sick, and some or SO STUPID. Can you tell I am a real fan?
