Music got me more than a video :D

edwardpiercy 1. September 2009, 19:08

I found that is was like following along with the sheet music -- it just allowed my ear to catch more detail.

Stardancer 1. September 2009, 20:37

Now THAT's stardancin'!

PainterWoman 1. September 2009, 20:38

I think I just got hypnotized.

edwardpiercy 1. September 2009, 20:45

@ Star.

Somethin like that, yeah. :D

@ Pam.

If you feel a sudden desire to get up out of your chair and flap your arms and cluck like a chicken, that's the reason.

PainterWoman 1. September 2009, 20:54

I was just sitting here listening to the beautiful music and watching the lines and dots meet up and I suddenly felt like I was sinking into the chair. Very weird sensation. Maybe I better not look at it again.

Many years ago, I was in a night club where there was a hypnosis act going on. The person I was with kept nudging my shoulder and telling me to wake up cuz he was afraid I was being hypnotized. Well, I didn't wake up the next day clucking like a chicken but I never went to one of these shows again.

edwardpiercy 1. September 2009, 20:57

Fortunatly for us. Not many chickens on Opera.

Stardancer 1. September 2009, 22:17

I can't find what I was looking for, darn it.

Where's that chicken hat, Edward?

edwardpiercy 1. September 2009, 22:27

I was just thinking of the chicken hat! But I had to shut down the laptop due to heat and I can't access my file folder from the phone -- takes too long and it times out.

Well, I'll put it here tomorrow.

L2D2 2. September 2009, 19:02

This image reminded me somehow of the colored light box hooked up to my son's stereo when he was a young teenager. He had the whole 9 yards---black light and posters, plasma ball, and the light box that pulsed different colors in time to the music. Anyone remember those things?

L2D2 2. September 2009, 19:03

That was 70s. Now they have gaming computers, WIIs, Xboxes, etc.

edwardpiercy 2. September 2009, 19:31

Okay, Star. Here's the chicken hat!

edwardpiercy 2. September 2009, 19:40

@ Linda.

I remember all those things. Never had them, though.

I like those plasma balls. They have a store here where you can buy them pretty cheap. If I ever have an extra $7 to drop on anything but a Bloody Mary, I think I would get one.

And oh...lava lamps.

Stardancer 2. September 2009, 21:50

Those strobe lights were cool. If you used just white light in them, it looked like people were robots when they danced. I think that's where the idea for The Robot dance originated. Had to have.

Stardancer 2. September 2009, 21:50

See, Edward? There ARE chickens on Opera.

p:

edwardpiercy 3. September 2009, 15:57

@ Chicken hats, at least. p:

The plasma balls always reminded me of something from an old science fiction movie. Hey -- if I get one and stand next to it for a few hours, would I turn into a giant lobster?

(Sorry, no giant lobster hats available.)

p:

edwardpiercy 3. September 2009, 16:06

Ooops, I spoke too soon!

gdare 3. September 2009, 17:01

They are available in different shapes and sizes :D

cow

edwardpiercy 3. September 2009, 17:21

 Ohhh, she's cute! Mooooo!

(I saved that one. Never know when these things might come in handy.)

gdare 3. September 2009, 17:38

Stardancer 3. September 2009, 22:07

L2D2 4. September 2009, 01:38

Edward, that lobster hat looked more like a moose hat to me!

And how the heck did we translate from Chopin to a cow on the head? Muhahahahahahha LMAO

edwardpiercy 4. September 2009, 01:50

Well, that's what we're here for. Funny hats!

gdare 4. September 2009, 05:13

Yup, funny hats :D

L2D2 4. September 2009, 06:16

You TURKEY, you! muhahahaha.

I am just getting the best laugh out of everything tonight.

Dare check your email and read the one about British newspapers first. You'll like it.

gdare 4. September 2009, 07:03

Ok :D

L2D2 5. September 2009, 17:13

Read it yet? What is your opinion?

gdare 5. September 2009, 18:18

Teatime Love Bite is just irresistible :faint:

L2D2 5. September 2009, 18:43

Muhahahhahaha. I LMAO all the time I was reading that. We don't get good stuff like that in my local paper!
