I was watching the Fiesta Bowl over New Year
and decided that the Boise State cheerleaders
were hotter than the Texas Christian University
cheerleaders. Just my opinion, of course.

This is the strangest calendar I've ever
come across.

It's good to know our airport security people

cream parlor.

A detective story AND pizza rolls? Hell,
I'd read it.

Wow, I never realized there was such hot
action going on in ancient Egypt!

It is the tradition here to end with some sleazy
photo or another of an actress or celebrity.
Back when I did the first one of these, Junk
Drawer 1, the first one of these photos used
was one of Brittany Murphy. With her recent
death, I thought I would use a Brittany photo
again -- it just seemed appropriate. This may
not be sleazy, but it's my favorite photo of her.

Wonderful photo of Brittany! Just saw a movie with her and Ashton Kutcher....Just Married? Not sure if that was the name as I didn't see the very beginning. She was adorable in it.

That outfit Cher has on is....ummmmm....I don't know. I had one similar but NOT with stripes. Come to think of it, I still have it. I should get it out and do a post on it.

The zombie is creepy. I think I'd get a new roommate.

Oh, and I remember seeing the Frieze and the coin in art history class.

Cher looks like an escapee from maximum security prison in that outfit, and I don't even know what to say about Sonny.

were hotter than the Texas Christian University

You know I went to a hair stylist once in Dallas and it turned out she was with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. I thought it strange that she could be cutting hair. So she told me that she didn't get paid as a cheerleader and had to make a flexible living for herself.

I don't know, maybe these days they get paid. ????

BTW the Fiesta Bowl was a great game. It's the only one of the bowls I watched, and I'm glad I did.

Apparently, the Cowboy cheerleaders make a calendar every year Dare, and I went to their official site and they had a bathing suit calendar. I used to know a former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. She was a meth addict and last I knew she was running from the law. She just disappeared. I'm thinking someone offed her because as far as I know (this was 10 years ago or more) she was never found.

I used to do a killer Cher impression, when I was in high school, but there was somebody else who was much better than I was. She looked like Cher, too. Long black hair, long face, big eyes. Mine was more comedic, I think, 'cause I can't sing.

You know that movie just kind of slipped between the cracks for me -- I remember that it looked interesting. Didn't know Lily Cole was in it. And wasn't Queen Amadalicious (Natalie Portman) in that too?

Most actors are made a lot up in that film, so I wouldn't really know if one of them was Natalie Portman. However, Tom Waits stars in the role of The Devil Himself and does a real good job. Also has good old Christopher Plummer in the title role and of course Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Colin Farrell and the late Heath Ledger. Directed by Terry Gilliam.
