Recognize me oh Lord of Ma'at
And pull me up into the firmament
That I not be left among
The Desolate Ones.

Good morning Ed. I've been up since 1:32 am. At least I got four hours of sleep.....dreaming sleep. At around 1am a dream woke me up. I was hearing CJ barking outside. I jumped up thinking I'd closed the doggie door at 10pm and left her out. She wasn't out there but was standing right next to me so it was in a dream. The barking was clear as a bell on the outside of my bedroom wall.

Sometimes I hate this insomnia but am glad I don't have it all the time.

A prayer I certainly hope comes to pass!

It was weird dreams. I needed a little spell.

@ Pam

I hope that maybe you can get a good nap in later. Naps always help.

PainterWoman 17. September 2009, 20:29

Around 3pm is nap time usually on days like this.

Allan 17. September 2009, 20:48

That significant time of the morning I also know so well

I think in the New Testament they called 4:00 "the Hour of Shadows", didn't they?

I hope yours will be minimal.

Edward Piercy 18. September 2009, 04:28

No, not to pee. At least not that time. More like to breathe. But the dream bothered me.

bad dreams are simply BAD!

4:30 AM might be just about the only time of day where I am always asleep. I never go to bed later than 1:30 AM, and rest like a baby til around 6:30. I do take a nap from around 1:00 PM to 2:30, unless of course matters of great importance demand my consious presence which fortunately happens very rarely. I enjoy the benefits of early retirement and for the time being I am absolutely unemployed. Sometimes I take unscheduled naps as well. As you know, my middle name is Leon, and this gives me a reason for living pretty much like a cat. I sleep and eat when I feel like it.

Come to think of it, I haven't had a decent dream for a long time. I wonder why. Perhaps my brain circuits aren't intertwined at the moment. Perhaps they are just plain dead.

May the winds of providence blow your way !

Edward Piercy 19. September 2009, 06:46

Thanks Martin. I really appreciate it.
