Hair extension How To Enjoy Relaxed Hair Care

There are two kinds of hair looks that turn heads the fastest " the bad hair day look and the relaxed hair look. Most people have heard the bad-hair-day greeting, whether its directed at them or someone else in the office. Looks like you're having a bad hair day there, Bob!, someone will say in jest. Its not a compliment, but usually its used as a term of endearment. And then there are those people, who'll get the comment, I like what you did to your hair today!, and that's definitely intended as a compliment.

Whether you have a sassy blond hairstyle, striking red head, or deep, deep black mane of hair, regardless of the colour, people only really notice when its healthy and shiny, and that's the relaxed hair look.

How do you get your hair to look so healthy, shiny and smooth? There is a chemical that you can put on your hair, called a relaxer, but you do want to be careful that it doesn't have a reverse effect.

Before applying your hair relaxer, speak to a professional stylist about which hair relaxer to use. If you use the wrong one for your hair, you'll end up with hair breakage or weak and lifeless hair.

Here are a few pointers to keep in mind:

1:Apply some pre-conditioner on your hair so that it protects your hair.

2:Up your protein content. Relaxers reduce the protein content in your hair so you want to get the protein from a healthy diet, which might include green vegetables and soybeans.

3:Wash your relaxed hair two or more times a week. Relaxing robs your hair of the natural moisturizers, and washing your hair adds moisture to your hair. You'll also want to deep condition your hair at least twice a month.

4:Stay away from the blow dryer. Exposure to heat dries and damages your hair. Let your hair air dry, and don't rub it with a towel either.

5:Stay away from the hair dyes. If you must colour your relaxed hair, use only semi permanent hair dyes. Permanent hair colour contains peroxide which damages your hair.

You can also have some fun with your hair care. For example, using a satin pillow might seem like a luxury but it will help prevent breakage. And then you can also wrap a scarf around your head before sleeping.
