It does not appear that long in the past that Kindle was first introduced. It is in it's 3rd distinctive model along with the 4th model just on the horizon. Kindle 4 promises to come with a full color display, but at exactly what price? Certainly, many people want a Kindle to read typical paperback textbooks, where a very simple monochrome display screen would most likely be sufficient.

I simply ponder what amount of consumers may want to spend that additional revenue in a color digital ebook reader?

I personally like to read comics as well as graphical books which means that a full color ebook reader device could be really cool, however I do think I would be more inclined to spend some additional funds and simply grab the Ipad as an alternative. One thing is beyond doubt, when the Amazon Kindle 4 release date is unveiled you may expect Amazon kindle 3 to drop in price quite a lot. Possibly it would be advisable to simply just purchase a Kindle 3 as soon as the new kindle 4 is launched and conserve some cash. Until then I really could just go in for an apple ipad, then again people are saying that apple ipad 2 is actually coming soon!

In this point in time when technology is so fast paced, it's hard to really know what to shop for! Whatever you decide to buy right now will cost way less within a few months to come. But if you wait a couple of months to buy, then there'll always be another thing just around the corner.

I think Kindle four will be a good investment decision based on two things. To start with the price and the second is the size of the display. Color is not that alluring when the display isn't really very big. Ideally Amazon can get it just right!
