Back from the dead? Hopefully.

So...of course, what's the first thing I do? Get back on the internet and check out Linux distros. Updated Ubuntu on my laptop from like 9.something to 11.10, and there's still a LTS of 12.something available, but I had a hassle enough with all of that updating that I'm good for now. Also trying to set up my man cave with all of my computers again. We got Comcast highspeed recently so I'm going to be downloading a lot of stuff. I have 5 towers and a laptop that are all going to be networked. But of course it's not that simple. Because my parents won't let me run an ethernet cable across the house, all of my access is wireless, even the desktops. One of the towers has a wifi card in it, and it will share it's internet connection to the other 4 boxes. It's going to be awesome once I get it set up because I will have one machine for gaming(or at least the best games I can play) and "regular" stuff; music, movies, photoshop, internet etc. One (probably the one with the wifi card, since it has to be on all the time for my other machines to be able to access the net) is going to be a crazy downloading machine with Bitorrent, Jdownloader, etc. etc, and be where I burn all of said downloaded stuff to CD/DVD. The other 3 will just be NAS servers, giant dropboxes for backup of stuff and junk, accessible on the network. Maybe some servers for MineCraft or Vent or anything else I want to experiment with. Lots of fun stuff to play with and learn.
Not to mention I have to find a job and get all that kind of stuff figured out too, so I will be busy. Full speed ahead!!
