About me

HCI/Usability/Human Factors- Computer Science background, prior military (USAF) officer.

I went to egypt. See the photo album for a taste- the full gettup is at http://el73.net

I'm reading Donald Norman, Jakob Nielson, Henry Petroski. Nielson is a bit much I agree. I don't agree with all his thoughts on web design. But there are things to think about with his articles.

I'm out of practice a bit with my CS. I don't fancy myself a programmer much.

My work

Usability Analyst- I'm a freshman to the world of usability- hopefully I'll get around to updating this again when I have more to say about my work.

Fast facts

  • Favorite sports team:Sacramento Kings
  • I'm passionate about:Usability
  • If I won 1 million dollars, I would:Pay off all debt- work a little more stress free
  • If I were a super hero I would:be cool to my son
  • Software I use:Opera.. for as much as I can/need
  • Hardware I use:I want a iMac 20"

Why I choose the Opera browser

It's my solution- quick native mouse gestures a UI that you can take and make your own. I'll let my browser features be developed by an actual business who want to make me happy- not single person who will write a plugin that meets his/her needs then walks away from it.
