All football fans must be knowing Italy's Alessandro Nesta. Being one of the world's best defender, he plays for AC Milan. A friend of mine named Vasuman (who is now in Pune) had visited Chievo, a small town in Italy during our vacation in 2004 just before the European Championships in Portugal. He had met a guy there who was Nesta's friend. And through him, he met Nesta it seems. According to him, Nesta was not training with the Italian squad but was staying home because of the illness of his mother. The funny part here is that, Vasuman told me helped Nesta's mother to take tablets and helped Nesta himself clean up his room. He also told me that Nesta played football with him and was impressed with Vasuman's game. No wonder Italy did not do well in Euro 2004!!
